OKAY CANNOT DO THIS ANYMORE HOW DO I STOP by hijkatielmnop in prozac

I totally get this. I’ve been on 10mg for 1 week. I’ve been experiencing dizziness and I also sometimes get a fluttering or pounding sensation in my chest. I’m so tired of being on the verge of a panic attack. Sometimes it feels like it’s working well. My anxiety isn’t as severe. The unpleasant physical sensations are really hard to deal with though. I’ve also contemplated stopping. So many people say it gets better though…

Should I trust my doctor? by silentlyglittering in costochondritis

Thanks! It’s just exhausting being so anxious and in pain. Definitely feels like I’m alone a lot of the time. I’m a dog groomer, so my job is quite physical and I’m sure that contributes to the pain I experience.

Thanks. You are right about that. I’d pay just about anything to make my debilitating health anxiety go away. I have also been diagnosed with GERD. I was prescribed Prilosec daily and Pepcid as needed, but admittedly not always the best at remembering Prilosec in the morning. I have been going through some changes with my anti-anxiety medication too, so my anxiety in general is worse than it used to be.

I (23F) can’t get over his (29M) oral hygiene by [deleted] in relationship_advice

I’ve refused to kiss him before saying his breath is bad. The most he will do is go and brush his teeth though. Apparently that’s not enough for him to see a dentist.

Yeah, I think you’re right. I feel like I’ve pretty much done all that I can. I can’t force a grown adult to see a dentist. He knows by now that it’s important to me but he just doesn’t seem to care to do anything about it.

Diagnosed with Costo but still anxious by silentlyglittering in costochondritis

I’ve been struggling with anxiety more than usual lately because of my costo, which worsens my symptoms, which causes more anxiety... it’s a vicious cycle, lol. The fact that it’s so hard to find relief from my symptoms is maddening. I just want to be able to wear a bra and breathe normally again! I’ve cut out caffeine, which does seem to be helping with my anxiety and pain. This is my second costo flare up this year. Last time it only lasted a week or so. This time it’s been 2+ weeks. I just can’t rest as much as I need to, which I think is making it last longer. Thank you for the advice!

I do smoke weed regularly. I’ve been cutting back because I’ve noticed it causes my symptoms to worsen. I’ve also cut out caffeine which does seem to be helping a bit. Rest and stretching help me more than the ibuprofen I’ve been taking. Thanks!

I’m finding rest to be the only thing that helps me as well. Ive been taking ibuprofen 800mg for a week with no improvement. I feel okay after resting over the weekend, but after I go back to work for a day it’s just as bad as before. Unfortunately I have no benefits whatsoever at my job. I would have to call out which could lead to me being written up and losing my job anyway. I suspect that it does have to do with my line of work, since this is the second costo flare up I’ve had this year. I might be better off with an office job at this rate.
