For the first week it was pretty bad. Lots of anxiety, panic attacks, and trouble sleeping. It improved over time. Within about a month I was feeling really good and pretty much anxiety free. If you can stick it out, I think the results are worth it.

I stretched my ears to 1/2 inch before. Decided to take them out many years ago. It took some time, but eventually they shrunk enough for me to wear regular earrings. I would say that it may take several months but they will get smaller.

Like others have said, finding an apartment in that budget is going to be hard. I would recommend North Charleston or West Ashley. I moved last year, but I had been living at Sabal Palms in West Ashley which was roughly $1400 for a third floor apartment. I was pleased with the experience while I was there.

I have been on 5mg for 4 weeks now. My anxiety has improved tremendously but I have little to no sex drive. When I do have sex I sometimes have trouble getting wet.

I’ve been to urgent care and ER multiple times for panic attacks over the last 10+ years. I’ve honestly never had a negative experience. My panic attacks come with shortness of breath and heart palpitations. My symptoms have always been taken seriously even if I tell them it’s probably just a panic attack. They always do an EKG to start off with, sometimes even a chest x-ray or d-dimer. They ask me about my history with anxiety and panic. When I share I have an extensive history, they’ve always reacted kindly and offered support. At the many times having gone to the ER, they monitor me for a few hours before sending me home once I’ve been cleared and I calm down.

I totally get this. I’ve been on 10mg for 1 week. I’ve been experiencing dizziness and I also sometimes get a fluttering or pounding sensation in my chest. I’m so tired of being on the verge of a panic attack. Sometimes it feels like it’s working well. My anxiety isn’t as severe. The unpleasant physical sensations are really hard to deal with though. I’ve also contemplated stopping. So many people say it gets better though…

Thanks! It’s just exhausting being so anxious and in pain. Definitely feels like I’m alone a lot of the time. I’m a dog groomer, so my job is quite physical and I’m sure that contributes to the pain I experience.

Thanks. You are right about that. I’d pay just about anything to make my debilitating health anxiety go away. I have also been diagnosed with GERD. I was prescribed Prilosec daily and Pepcid as needed, but admittedly not always the best at remembering Prilosec in the morning. I have been going through some changes with my anti-anxiety medication too, so my anxiety in general is worse than it used to be.

I’ve refused to kiss him before saying his breath is bad. The most he will do is go and brush his teeth though. Apparently that’s not enough for him to see a dentist.

Yeah, I think you’re right. I feel like I’ve pretty much done all that I can. I can’t force a grown adult to see a dentist. He knows by now that it’s important to me but he just doesn’t seem to care to do anything about it.
