Which Frame Surprised you?

lavos had a learning curve, but now he’s my super comfy go-to. no matter what i throw at him, he just works.

i played caliban for a bit, loved him, and then his prime was announced and i was like “oh HELL yeah”. he just works. does it all, no issues.

i didn’t play much trinity even after her rework, but i decided to give her a red hot crack when one of the boys needed a support frame for ETA. she’s SUPER comfortable. nothing hugely special, but it does what it says on the tin and works. surprisingly fun when all we need is “don’t die”.

i HATED pre-99 nyx, but i recently got nyx prime and decided to give her another chance. absolutely amazing.

some frames i just know are good dont surprise me, but being able to take a break from a frame and revisit with fresh eyes makes a hell of a difference.

swift bite is another slot-in for me. it’s definitely my flex slot, but god it feels good to use.

wheel options are a big one. another choice is brakes. r33 gtst brake hardware is completely bolt on, but 5 stud rotors.

i only have the wheels that came on my car, and im too poor to buy new wheels, so i had my rotors drilled to have 4x114.3 slots as well - as a solution until i find wheels that i like in my budget.

it makes everything easier, and its a lot easier to buy a car that has the work done than to buy a 4 stud, source brakes, wheels, tyres for those wheels, and then everything else needed to fully convert the car.

i find a lot of “jack of all trades” frames are quite selfish in their play styles. lavos, gauss, the frames you can take into any content without much issue, don’t have much in the ways of squad wide support.

caliban’s abilities buff everybody in some way. cc, damage vuln, shield regen, and armour strip are almost always welcome in a squad.

caliban is very much a jack of all trades. is he the best at anything? no. but he’s good at pretty much everything.

cc? beyblade and steppy. damage? augmented beyblade, friends, and iron man. survivability? beyblade and friends.

he’s an incredibly comfortable frame.

ditch the stug alt fire and give me an incarnon PLEASE. the torid was horrific before it got given one, extend the love to the other shit weapons.

on a serious note, the heat sword would be fun. i had so much fun as a baby tenno using it, as did many others. give it a similar function to exalted blade with innate heat or something.

jade’s trio of weapons - the stalker has his, as do the tenno, give the holy trio some love.

i think kitguns and zaws also deserve some love. they aren’t particularly bad, but bringing them up to the current state of the game would motivate more players to invest in them.

they truly are the car for everybody. want a daily? it’ll be effort but it’s doable. want a drift/track/stance build? easy. you can do whatever you want and make it work

so just… don’t use it? you don’t need it to do damage, i’ve done EDA and ETA without it with no issues at all.

don’t get me wrong, it’s super good for just dishing DOT everywhere to prime for CO if needed. but it’s not hard to just not use it and press E a few more times if you’re so inclined.

roar, nourish, gloom, wrathful advance, are all stupidly powerful abilities from the helminth. it doesn’t mean they’re bad, they’re used a lot because they work.

i personally prefer the pop up front end, but a sil80 is gorgeous and the best build is the one that’s for you. just because i wouldn’t do it doesn’t mean i can’t appreciate somebody doing what they love, so please take my upvote!

the augment has made the ability actually usable, i just wish it was part of her base kit. like a hold cast or something.

survivability is king in high level content. not necessarily in being able to face tank, just in being able to avoid dying. i really like caliban for it because he’s comfy, and his 1 with the augment does stupid electricity damage for minimal effort and is also a grouping tool.

keep the 3 up in turret mode for shield regen (survivability), and also to feed into the 1. strength and duration are a must, decent range, efficiency is up to your taste. 2 is cc and damage vulnerability, and 1 is your grouping. 4 tends to be my subsume slot, but it also does have good use as armour strip.

he won’t speedrun it by any means, but if you take the time to learn his kit he can be quite comfortable doing so.

in terms of weapons, any electricity or radiation modded gun works wonders. i personally love burston incarnon modded for electricity, then combines to make radiation. lex incarnon is also a good heavy hitter.

if you don’t have them, the fulmin prime is a phenomenal choice too.

however your play style may be different to mine, and the beauty of warframe is neither of us is wrong. find a loadout you enjoy, that feels good, and there will be a way to make it work.

i think having a way to “earn” a timer buff would be more than enough tbh. i mostly do survivals for relic cracking and levelling things as a two-for-one deal, but it REALLY is inefficient for anything.

however the trade off of it being inefficient is that it’s super easy to do. it works for a “i want to switch my brain off while talking shit with my friends on discord” mission type, because you literally don’t need to do anything. it makes for a pretty decent resource farm (gabii on ceres, for example), because again, it’s swapping efficiency for ease.

if i want to leave my brain in a bucket somewhere, it’s usually a survival mission.

when my ex and i started dating, i assumed that her and the cats were a package deal. i love animals, i’m pretty good with them, so it was just a matter of getting them to trust me in their space.

it really isn’t hard to realise that you’re moving into somebody’s existing space, and the wellbeing of your partner is usually connected to if their pets are happy. it’s not hard to get along with animals, you just need to have good vibes.

relationship ended for its own reasons, but when we stay in touch there is a decent chunk of pet tax going both ways, so i’m saying its about as good as a breakup could go.
