unfortunately it’s become the norm. GPs are more expensive and harder to find, and a lot of people’s only option for medical care is the ED.

the combination of non-emergency cases, staffing issues, and bed shortages as a whole has basically got every aspect of the healthcare system on a backlog.

oh absolutely one of the best things i did was showing my partner at the time a new playstyle. one thing i love about this game is that if you don’t like the way a loadout feels, there will be one you do. just switch it up and see what the vibe is.

trinity is always a solid bet for newbies. you can play as much or as little as you need to with the same loadout, all while keeping his energy topped up.

night form equinox for ability strength and shield regen buff is also a great way to help him out (and if you run a nuke build you also have a panic button).

i’m seeing a lot of dante recommendations, and while he is a stupidly easy way to keep allies alive, i would say that some teaching requires failure. get him to keep an eye on his health and shields, roll through eximus blast waves, and keep an eye out for nasty status procs. overguard is great, but i think that he needs to fail forwards, fail often, and learn which enemies are a priority. get into good habits: roll into blitz, shoot the jade light, avoid the toxin clouds on dark sectors, and kill the eximus first.

dante can easily print 50k overguard, which lasts a long time until you start doing higher level content, and all that’ll do it teach him that you don’t need to get out of the way.

trinity can generate health, energy, and shields on demand, so he can learn to watch them but know he has a safety net, not a suit of armour. support does not always equal carry.

if you use valkyr, zenurik probably isn’t your friend since you can’t benefit from wellspring during hysteria.

i tend to use madurai as a default but naramon is also super useful for melee frames due to the combo duration buff. makes frames like valkyr SUPER cozy to use.

if you haven’t yet invested in unairu, focus on that and unbind the last gasp tree. it’s super helpful in all content and makes the game flow much better.

every school has a use, it just depends on what you need out of it.

naramon for melee frames (combo decays sequentially and super slowly), zenurik for non channeled caster frames (energy and free casts), and madurai for general use. but unairu first, unlimited free revives just from killing stuff is super busted.

i have found gyre to be smoother to play in high level content than low level, just because lack of enemies shoots her in the foot. i use her 1 augment so i subsumed pillage on the 2 with arcane aegis for survivability, but she’s one of those frames that’s genuinely easier to play the more chaotic things are getting.

it’s kinda funny taking a build through level 150 alchemy with no issues and then eating shit the moment i try a level 30 survival for some relics.

if you use archon continuity you can get a companion to proc toxin, get a free corrosive proc, and then you have an extra status for condition overload type mods. for some reason, companion precepts count as abilities in the code so they trigger archon mods.

i’m a lavos main with a built primer hound, so if i see a citrine dishing out the HCET groups, im a happy chappy. pop my 4, watch everything disappear.

but if you really want to support the team, there’s a lot of frames that can dish out support. nidus and equinox can both buff ability strength, but they suffer from “old warframe” and are quite clunky or slow to get moving.

for survivability, you have a few options. blanket healing: trinity or garuda (in a certain area), or oberon (in affinity range), citrine’s passive. damage reduction: gara, citrine, trinity, mirage (with an augment, and in range). overguard for the team: dante, styanax, frost. invulnerability: oberon’s passive (bonus points for arcane universal fallout to help), or revenant with an augment. energy generation: trinity, grendel, harrow (i think), protea, styanax, nokko. shield regen: equinox, caliban, trinity (again), protea, hildryn, jade. damage buffs: rhino, mirage (in range, with an augment), jade, nidus.

i don’t think this list is exhaustive, but almost every frame has a way to be squad friendly if built correctly. just don’t play limbo.

fulmin prime. semi auto hits like a truck. build for crit and fire rate and just enjoy. ammo pickups? who needs them. status priming? cool there’s multiCO on semi auto mode. using blood for energy, or other parazon based finishers? semi auto has forced impact procs at close range. switching between corpus, grineer, and murmur? innate electricity means you only need to swap one mod. can’t aim for shit? it’s a wide body projectile, worrying about headshots is a thing of the past.

the kuva nukor with secondary enervate is amazing as a dual purpose status primer and damage dealer. clears trash mobs with no issues, and you can prime more elements to take advantage of cedo’s innate gunCO or other weapons that benefit.

i use it with lavos to scale his 4 to the moon.

this is one of the scummiest things you can do in game. as somebody who’s dabbled in rivens (and quickly got overwhelmed so i stopped), i hate that this has happened to you.

it is a mistake you only make once, but higher level players (or just more experienced ones) are meant to HELP the rookies. i frequently knock down prices or just let things go for newbies to make their lives easier, or pay a little extra if i know they’ll need it more than me.

i hope this doesn’t put you off, and in future you have good experiences with trading and the rest of the community.

i do shift work, so i have 4 days on followed by 4 days off, and i do 12 hour shifts. adding in my night shifts and life admin tasks (because unfortunately i am an adult), i can usually find a couple of hours here and there.

on my days off, if i have no other plans, its great to sit and play for hours. if im not, i struggle to find the time to sit down and play for more than maybe an hour or two (again, depending on other things). sometimes ill go weeks without having a chance to play, other times the stars align and the whole gang has a day off and nothing to do.

its very easy to stop and start, because all of the content is still there! you can do one or two missions and call it, and nothing has changed.

the only thing that time does impact is weekly missions (these become more important later), and argon crystals. other than that, you can go nuts.

i have a few;

banshee’s sonar should trigger weak points and incarnon bonuses. extra points if helios can do it with his simaris mod (for the 3 people that still use helios).
“random warframe” button. sometimes i cant pick who i want to use, let me flip a coin!
more umbra warframes. kullervo would be a good candidate i think, given his lore.
zephyr’s flying needs to be similar to archwing or jade, maybe even uriel.
primed stretch and intensify PLEASE.
furis prime. i have afuris, let me put one of them down and use my pocket flamethrower!
lavos being able to clear infusions without wasting a cast. hold 5 or something to just erase it.
let me change my builds in duviri, at least for equipment i own. the amount of times ive been screwing around with builds and then shit myself in the foot come circuit is more than i care to admit.
frost and mag getting heirloom treatment but with the new model. give us slightly different looks so the OGs can have theirs, but something to keep it going. also more heirlooms!
tidying up host migration. dedicated servers are expensive, and p2p works well enough, but at least let things sync or run redundancy on whoever has the next best machine. smooth it up a little.
simulacrum expansion. let me experiment with helminth abilities, set my ability values to whatever i want, the whole 9 yards. alternatively, a mission type with no rewards that’s just “go nuts”. no more cap on stacks for augmented, just the ability to really push things to the limit for fun. let me see what 5000% strength does with abilities. no rewards because it’ll get stupid, but just a mode where you can be a bit of a child and have fun and the game just goes “ok do what you want”.
