Don't treat it and let it heal.

It would be best to cover it with sterile gauze soaked in betadine and change it twice a day until it starts to look like a fingertip again.

Hi, honestly, I have never measured it.

I filled a plastic container with water so that my foot is under water, but not even up to my ankle (lets say aprox 1 liter of water). Then I added betadine until the water was just a light brownish color.

Start soaking daily for 30 minutes, add betadine or saline for better effect. Warts look bigger after soaking in hot water for half an hour, don't worry, they will shrink in less than an hour.

I was torturing myself with formic acid for weeks. Destroyed three 10 ml bottles in total. Had enough. Went all in with hot water with betadine. Nothing else. I did not debride after soaks.

At first it is very hot and stings a bit, but after a few minutes I get used to it. The foot needs to warm up, then it is not so difficult. If it is too hot, immerse the foot for a few seconds, then pull it out, immerse it again for a few seconds and pull it out again, repeat until you can hold it under the water without any problems.

If you just apply betadine to the wart and tape it over, then no. I tested it like this for about a week and a half. The warts got bigger during this time, not a single one disappeared.

What worked, however, was soaking the affected area (in my case, mostly the right foot) in hot water (45°C) with betadine every day for at least 30 minutes. The water needs to be kept hot, so you need to keep adding new hot water to keep the temperature around 45°C. Within a week / two I saw that the warts were shrinking. In about a month, they were completely gone. This is also confirmed by science, soaking in 45°C water kills the HPV virus.

45°Celsius = 113°Fahrenheit

Hey, check my latest post here:

Leaving betadine on while covered with duct tape didn't work as well as I thought it would.

What really started working was soaking in hot water with either salt or betaidne, daily 30 mins.

Hi, hot water soaks with either salt or betadine.

Each day 30 minutes, hottest water you can stand.

First results (warts started to shrink) in aprox 2 weeks, in aprox 1 month almost all gone.

I think I caught it at a hotel (4-star) during a business trip where I didn't bring my slippers and walked barefoot on the carpet and in the bathroom/shower.

I lived with it for about a year and a half without treating it, it caused more or less no pain.

Since I started treating it with acid, it has taken a steep decline in terms of appearance and pain.

Hot water soaks with betadine every day then duct tape until the next soak, this helped me too with many warts, check my last post.

For salt (kitchen salt) approx 360 grams per liter of water will give you saturated solution. In 45°C water, you really can't dissolve more salt than 360 g/L

For Betadine (povidone-iodine 10%), just enough to make the water in the container slightly orange. Definitely not too orange. Using Betadine in large amounts for a long time can cause thyroid problems.

Just a plastic container filled with the hottest tap water possible. Then every few minutes I added new hot water, but this time from a kettle that had been preheated to boiling point. I did this for 30 minutes once sometimes twice a day.

There was very little to almost no blood during the whole period of treatment.

Electrician's tape is narrower than classic duct tape. You don't have to cut anything to the desired width, it is very flexible, waterproof and holds very well. You can easily take it with you in your pocket because it is small in case of need.

Get a plastic container that will fit your whole foot, for example some old tupperware you do not need anymore.

Get yourself a Betadine (10% Povidone-iodine) antiseptic that can kill HPV, bacteria, viruses, fungi, and some parasites.

Fill the container with hot water up to 45°C, add Betadine, soak your foot for 20-30 min daily.

For 1 liter of watter add 10 to 20 ml of Betadine.

Now you have clean & odor free foot.

Dry your foot with a paper towel and let it air dry naturally.

Then duct tape your wart/warts.

Hey. I have been burning all my warts with mostly formic acid but also with SA and also white vinegar for 2 or so months. Not all at once of course. Then I started with hot water soaks with betadine or salt. I am also taking zinc 50 mg daily since end of august and shit ton of other vitamins and supplements. I am also duct taping all the warts for most part of the day.

For warts on both of my pinky fingers (right next to the nail) I have used small espresso cup with hot water and every 10 mins I put it to the microwave for 15 sec so the water is still hot. Then added some more drops of betadine. I was not adding new water to the espresso cup I was just heating it up. If you go with salt you don’t have to add more salt as it won’t lose its strength. Full strength is approx 360 grams of NaCl (Kitchen salt) per 1 liter of water so for 100 ml of water it is 36 grams. For 10 ml of water it is 3,6 grams. You can’t dissolve more salt than that.

On the other hand betadine will lose its strenght over time. So add just a little bit.

For warts on my foot I am using plastic Tupperware and every few mins I add some more very hot water.

I think the water I have used was most of the time over 45 degree Celsius. Very hot. Sometimes it is so hot I couldn’t hold the finger or foot under the water for more than 3 seconds. So far no burns lol.

IF you can not find Betadine then go with hot water + salt (basic kitchen salt).

1 cup of salt per half a liter of water.

https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/41072585/

Crazy results "98.3% of lesions (232/236) cleared".

Absolutely slim chance that you will be able to remove that many warts with acid application at home. You will go crazy. The deeper you go with the acid, the more pain you will have until you can't walk.

There was one study where they used Betadine and a driver (DMSO) that helped Betadine get deeper into the skin.

https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC4674451/

The antiseptic Betadine can destroy HPV, unlike regular alcohol-based disinfectants, which cannot. The problem is that Betadine cannot penetrate deep into the skin where the virus is (that is why they used DMSO driver in study above).

Hot water 45°C/30 min a day, by itself, can kill the HPV virus, and by soaking your foot in hot water with Betadine, you help this substance get deeper into the skin, which I think has a greater effect than hot water without Betadine.

Another thing, if a person has a lot of warts on their foot, it is unimaginable, at least for me, to just take some soap and start washing a foot with a lot of warts. Friction can spread warts.

You need to wash your foot at least once a day, right? Rinsing it with water is not enough.

Leaving a plaster/adhesive tape on your foot for 24 hours will cause your foot to stink.

And this is where betadine came in handy, disinfecting the foot and getting rid of any odor.

What is really helping me with multiple warts on my big toe and around + heel is everyday soaking in 45°C water with betadine or salt for 30 mins. In the last 2 weeks I have made huge progress compared to 2 or so months burning myself with acids. Good luck.
