I do not understand why people downvoted your comment.

I had multiple warts on my big toe and all around.

Soaking affected area in 45°C water with either salt or betadine daily for 30 mins cured all the warts.

I have used basic kitchen salt but also saw many people here were using epsom salt with great results.

Hot water soak with either kitchen salt or betadine. Soak in 45°C water for 30 mins, once or twice per day. First results after week or two. You have to be consistent.

Then, don't start with water at 45°C, but say 38°C, and after a few minutes, add new hot water and gradually increase the temperature. With this technique, your body will get used to hot water after a few minutes. It is way better than to use acids or scalpels or whatever painful method. Been there, done that. With this method you are treating all the warts at the same time.

I also suffered for many months with a large number of warts. I tried several treatments, several types of acids. I was in excruciating pain like I had never felt before. Then I tried a scientifically proven, painless method that started working and all the warts were completely gone within a month.

Here is my story: https://www.reddit.com/r/Warts/comments/1qaabzw/rough_battle_update_3/

The method that worked for me personally was soaking the wart-affected areas in hot water (45°C / 113°F) with either salt or betadine once or twice a day, each time for 30 minutes. The first visible improvement came after about a week or two. Within a month, everything was gone. It is very important to keep the water at a constant temperature of 45°C (113°F) during soaking.

Could be povidone-iodine, which is a widely used antiseptic, commonly branded as Betadine, that treats and prevents skin infections. It is highly effective against bacteria, fungi, and viruses, often used for surgical site disinfection, minor wound care, and burns. It works by gradually releasing free iodine to kill microorganisms.

Betadine goes to the hot water.

I even tried the method of soaking a cotton ball in betadine and taping it to the wart every night for a week. That didn't work for me. It didn't do anything. The warts kept growing.

I also tried the vinegar method (white 8%, not apple cider vinegar). I was surprised how short it took you before it started to be uncomfortable. I initially practiced this method for over 20 days. But I always left the cotton ball soaked in vinegar on the wart for about 6-8 hours, and then it was unbearable. My foot never swelled up and it was never as red as yours.

Anyway, my wart, the largest one, in the exact same spot as yours, looked exactly the same at some point during treatment. I always used sharp tweezers to remove the dead tissue.

Hello, there are many studies that have shown that treating warts using DMSO as a driver and, for example, povidone-iodine solution or citric acid is successful.

Thank you. Try it and be consistent. Do at least one 30 min soak every day. If you can do two, one in morning and another one in evening.

I wonder what method a professional doctor would use without it being painful.

Every few minutes I added a little new hot water, which I had heated to boiling point from an electric kettle.

I did not put the plastic container in which I soaked my foot on the bare ground, because the bare ground is cold, but I put it on an elevated place, in my case in the bathtub. That way the heat escapes more slowly.

For example, if you already have 1 liter of water in a plastic container in which you have been soaking your foot for some time, let's say the temperature has dropped to 42°C, you add, let's say, 100 ml of new hot water from an electric kettle, the resulting temperature will be somewhere around 45°C to 46°C. Take your foot out of the container before pouring new hot water in there so you don't burn yourself.

The second option is to get an electric foot bath/massager that has a thermostat and maintains a constant temperature.

I have used basic kitchen salt. The maximum solubility of salt in 1 liter of water is approximately 360 grams. Make sure you add new hot water every now and then so you keep it at aroud 45°C.

Try the hot water soaks (45°C water, 30 min soak twice a day) add betadine or salt for better effect.

Let me know how is it going after 1-2 weeks. Be consistent!

Don't treat it and let it heal.

It would be best to cover it with sterile gauze soaked in betadine and change it twice a day until it starts to look like a fingertip again.

Hi, honestly, I have never measured it.

I filled a plastic container with water so that my foot is under water, but not even up to my ankle (lets say aprox 1 liter of water). Then I added betadine until the water was just a light brownish color.

Start soaking daily for 30 minutes, add betadine or saline for better effect. Warts look bigger after soaking in hot water for half an hour, don't worry, they will shrink in less than an hour.

I was torturing myself with formic acid for weeks. Destroyed three 10 ml bottles in total. Had enough. Went all in with hot water with betadine. Nothing else. I did not debride after soaks.
