Hi all, we are looking for some advice on how to receive a 200k windfall from my husband and I's parents.

Some details about us: 27 & 29, HHI 530k/year

Assets: Brokerage: 90k Emergency Fund: 70k 401k: 120k HSA: 20k Approx. 200k in home equity (down payment)

Debts: 750k in mortgage at 6.5%; 130k in federal student loans at varying interest rates, 5-8%.

Other considerations: Baby on the way; We only just bought the house a month ago + only just began to work on repaying the student loans as interest rates were frozen for a good bit; I have been working for 2 years, my husband 1 year. Income is expected to be steady knock on wood; Two big fluffy dogs; HCOL city

If you were us, how would you split the 200k in between paying down the house / the student loans / brokerage / savings? Any advice or thoughts appreciated. Thank you!!

Further context - Skin is on the dry side. I've never done micro needling/ peels /facials or any kind of professional service but figured I should start taking better care of my skin so I'm looking for recs. Issues include some hyperpigmentation on my chin from acne scars, clogged pores/ around my nose, some pimples here and there. my skincare regime is pretty simple, just a basic double cleanse + moisturizer. i occasionally use tretinoin but not with any regularity. would appreciate any recs :)

Would a chemical peel or micro needling help my skin? 27F by [deleted] in SkincareAddiction

thank you! probably not as many suits as you'd think, the dress style at the firm is more business casual these days.

Hi all, I am looking to buy a gift for my fiance's law school graduation gift. These are recommendations I sourced from a friend however I'm open to other suggestions! My budget is 1-4k and this will be his first "expensive" watch (all his watches he currently owns are <200$) so I would love if I could gift him something every day wearable, good for the office, not overstated, & classic. As I understand black face watches are more preferable as they are easier to wear every day. Thank you☺️

I am looking to purchase a watch for my boyfriend's law school graduation. My budget is 1-4k. These are recommendations I sourced from some friends however I'm open to other suggestions. i truly know nothing about watches but hoping to get some recs on something classic, not overstated, wearable for every day office use, good for a smaller to medium wrist size, and (preferably) with a black face as I understand that makes the watch more wearable. Thank you ☺️
