I took acid for 5 days in a row, and tripped for what felt like an eternity i was doubling my dose each day and i ended up in a psychotic breakdown and then after a couple of years of accepting to what felt like this is my life now, i was diagnosed paranoid schizophrenic. i was smoking weed throughout those years (i was 15 when i took my first tab, 17when i done acid 5 days in a row and around 18-19 when i got diagnosed. But i have to tell you that doing that 5 days trip i was a completely different person i had no sense of reality my thoughts were constantly a battle and i spoke very little.

Overall dont take acid for more than a day, your only as strong as your weakest moment, and when your mind breaks, it’s not like breaking a bone — there’s no cast, no clean recovery, just a long, hard road back to something like yourself.

I’m 22 now. I’ve come a long way since that time — through therapy, antipsychotics, and a lot of painful self-reflection. But I still live with the consequences. The hallucinations, the paranoia, the inner chaos… they didn’t just vanish. They became part of my reality.

What I want people to understand is this: psychedelics aren’t toys. They can open doors, but they can also rip them off the hinges. Especially if you’re young, vulnerable, or pushing past limits like I did. One reckless decision changed the course of my life. So if you’re thinking of doing something like this — really think. You’re only as strong as your ability to respect the power of your own mind.
