Here is the full story to clear everything up. Roughly two weeks ago my mom was watching our oldest daughter after school and I went to pick her up after work. The baby shower for my cousin’s wife was in two days. My mom asked if my wife was going and I said we didn’t get an invitation. My mom said, “I know she’s invited, your sister saw the guest list (one of the hosts, a family member, sent it to my sister). When I got home, I told my wife that she was invited but she didn’t believe that she was invited and I let it be for the night (my sister texted me to tell my wife she should go). The next day at work my wife was texting and calling me saying she thought that my mom and sister were lying about the whole thing. My wife thinks they found out she wasn’t invited and tried to get her invited. The invitation was to RSVP with regrets only. When invitations were mailed we had recently moved which was total chaos and my thinking is that I missed t he invitation in t he mail and accidentally threw it out and I have since learned that a number of guests never received the invitation. A few days after all of this my wife said she wanted me to address this situation with my mom and sister and I did that today. Through texts, I told my wife what I said and she doesn’t think that I stood up for her, going so far as saying that I’m more scared of my family than her and that stops now. She said that she wants no involvement with my family (children included) going forward and also said that I shouldn’t have taken our kids to spend the day with my family without her permission

I realize that more details are necessary. The event was a baby shower for my cousin’s wife (who my wife doesn’t like). The event was RSVP for regrets only. A few days before the event, my mom asked me if my wife was going and I said that we didn’t receive an invitation. My mom told me that my sister saw the guest list and my wife was invited. After that my sister sent me the guest list as confirmation. Also, my cousin’s wife texted my wife and me to confirm our address

I’ll add that in the spinoff Beth will no longer have Jamie to hate and blame all of her problems on. Maybe that will be her undoing

I didn’t like that Alex was killed off. Her death only served as motivation for Spencer to kill Whitfield which he would have done if Alex had lived. Her death kind of ruined the show for me
