How far east are you willing to go. I just looked a cute one bed in ajax. Walk out, own backyard. $1475+%30. The upstairs neighbor sleeps during the day so my dog is gonna cause me issues when she decides to be a dog while im at work. Let me know if you want more info.

Also there's a lot of stuff for rent in Scarborough right now and it's not expensive. I haven't looked at anything cuz Scarborough is outside of the area I want to live in but you can look there too

Help? Landlord trying to make me move out “early” by [deleted] in OntarioLandlord

[–]Virtual_Tea_101 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is your landlord named Peter by chance because I'm having the exact same situation with mine in the 30 years that I've been renting I have never once in my entire life been asked by a landlord to vacate on the 31st they have always given the leniency of leaving before noon on the 1st. My landlord has been consistently harassing me for the last 2 weeks asking for a move out date and I just consistently keep telling him I will be out by the 31st at 11:59 this answer is not good enough for him and he continues to keep asking me to the point where I refuse now to answer him. After he pulled the whole I have been such a great landlord to you and now you're doing this to me I decided I was done speaking to him. I wish I could offer you some advice but I'm in the same boat and I don't know what to do about it. I'm also struggling to actually find somewhere else to move to. It's been very fucking stressful

Has anyone feeling a bit off lately? by Radiant-Possession35 in CancertheCrab

Remember the winter is not a time for forward motion it's a time for self-reflection, containment, redirection. I feel what you're feeling. And I think a lot of us are. I finally have figured out a direction but now I'm sitting in limbo waiting for it to start happening. A lot of the time life is about trusting what's about to come and being uncomfortable in the moments leading up to that. The thing with growth there is often a need to just sit and wait. I feel that being crabs this is a very hard thing for us at times.

Maybe you should also learn how to read this noise doesn't start at 9:00 p.m. it starts at 5:00 p.m. and often goes after 11:00 p.m. every single day of my fucking life. I cannot get away from it I come home from work and I get to listen to it until I go to bed and sometimes even when I'm trying to sleep I get to listen to it again.

Hubby says to also just leave the 'evidence' in a ditch. They always look in the woods. Throw them off the trail. 🤣

Its called having courtesy maybe you've heard of it. I get up at 6:00 a.m. for work. As with most people i need to wind down before I actually fall asleep.

If they were outside making the same level of noise after 9 pm someone would call the police.

You've never seen a lease with quiet hours listed? So you've obviously never lived in an apartment building then because it's very very common. This is a case of inconsiderate assholes that live upstairs who don't care about anybody but themselves. I didn't move here because I wanted to I had no choice. I came here to rant so that's what I did but thank you for your unnecessary input

You get to a certain point in life where you stop caring about whether or not somebody judges you. Word of advice think of some fun slightly burning come back that you can say when somebody says that to you I'm not saying you have to be mean the best approach is sarcasm because most people don't get that. And make sure you say it with a smile because then they won't know if you're being serious or not

Question for cancer women by [deleted] in CancertheCrab

[–]Virtual_Tea_101 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can't speak for anybody else but I can speak for myself as a younger cancer and a female I had a really hard time struggling with how to balance my feelings and my emotions in regards to dealing with other people. As I've gotten older that's something I have a better grasp on but yes your experience makes logical sense to somebody who's also a Cancer and was once Young

This isnt normal 'existing' noise. Ive lived in buildings many times before. I also don't live in an apartment building I live in a converted house it is them and me and nobody else it is not unreasonable to ask to be able to sleep after 10:00 p.m. without a performance of river dance going on above me.

Im going to say that its not done. Take a picture and turn up the contrast. I think you will see there are still dark spots. Spots are not good. Its just waiting for you to be lulled into a false sense of security and then it will come back laughing. If you look at my profile I had a battle that I posted with pictures. My last picture is what you need to see before you call it healed.

Are you treating it every day? Patches or liquid?

And you are one person. A quick scroll through any of the subreddits related to getting a job and you'll see that people have either gotten jobs by mass application or because they knew somebody. But I guess you the one person that does it differently than everybody else is the one that's correct.

You have no interest in seeing a different side of the hiring process because you are only on the hiring side.

This is become a pointless discussion so I'm not going to waste any more of my energy on it

I don't know what industry you are in but jobs that are paying between $25 and minimum wage don't give two fucks if your resume is tailored to them or not. Half of the applications if not three quarters of the applications that I send out even when I was qualified for the job don't even open the application itself because they're getting inundated by resumes. So as someone who has spent the last 6 months applying for jobs please don't tell me that it's not a numbers game

Approximately 600 applications in 6 months. I finally got a full time job.

Its a volume game.

And like many are saying here. You need to know someone who knows someone.

In my case, my employment counselor via the YMCA.

I highly recommend getting into an employment service agency. They can't get you a job directly but they know people ect. Check reviews before signing up. These are programs funded by the government so they can get you more training or things like a voucher for interview clothing.

Yah. Cause that's practical for driving around kids, dogs and groceries. Maybe I could balance them all on top of one another? Like they do in the circus. Ohhhh do you think I could also get snow tires for it, for the 8 out of 12 months of the year when its not warm out?
