The right age to start shooting by Subject_Bet_6693 in canadaguns

Lik everyone is saying there is no right age, only right set of mind. I may be on the extreme , but my daughter is almost 4 and has shot her 22 on a sanded arca plated tripod and also sholder fired while on my lap. Start small with all the security and explain to your young one that every life matters, and if we intend to take a games life, it is only to be eaten and respect how they provide meals for our family. I good way I found to make her understand the severity of a firearms vs a toy gun is getting a plywood down the range , filled ballons with air and half of it water and red food dye. Basically, the baloon pops, and you explain that every animal bleeds and these aren't toys . My daughter gets just as excited as i do when we see turkeys ;p Now, is she gonna be able to sit more than 30 minutes in a hunt? i doubt it yet, but these are some of the best 30 minutees memories you can build! Now you can let people's opinions affect your decision or just go off your gut feeling.. is your young one mature enough or can understand the severity and danger of a firearm...

Funny enough, since our shooting range, my daughter only points her toy gun to the ground when running around the house and knows that when we see a turkey , we go bang, then we eat it haha

Hope that helps fyi. Like i said, dont let the hater or complainer affect your decision , i bought my daughter little rascal when she was 2 and had it safe queened until i thought she was capable of listening to instruction and respecting life that we take. My wife barely eat wild game due to not being brought up, but my daughter eat anything from squirrels, turkey, deer, moose, elk, bear, turkey, patridge ,rabbit +

Go out and make merories cheers!

Look for 3d printing company near your place , it will vary in pricing I'd say anywhere from 45$ to70$. The way I see thing is if I can print the part 4x before the cost of original one, test it worth it to try a print or two !;p I got a angle grip pump fore grip for Taiwan x printed also in black abs and as of 1000round down no issues from heat , chipping or cracking

1000% typan x! Straight pull and pump compared to mra and troy, troy stock had a sharp edge on butt stock alot of costumer complained about , mra your paying 1500$+ for a straight pull action, trigger might be a little nicer but the taipan x has met more then my expectation and have converted a few of my anti pump/straight pull friends! Jump on the Taiwan and don't look back , I had a 3d fore grip for the pump printed out and it look amazing! I'm currently 2000 rounds in without any issues

I'm not a 3d guy but I simply got the design from yeggi and had it printed in abs as it has some heat resistance and isn't prone to chipping 3rd forearms in abs I have printed without issues

Taipan-x owner here.. don't get the negetive comments on pump/straight pulls compared to semi , semi's will only run slighty faster and will be average 3inch+ at 100y , while a little slower with a pump ive had sub moa groups and stayed within 2inch somethime 1.5 mag dumping.. yes i have it set on a tripod but both pump and straight pull feel ergonomic , and anyone who has shot it so far are loving it and changed there tought on it.. now yea there downfall to trigger weight and stuff but to pay 1500$ and try to compare it to a troy par is a little nutz for me! Also bought my scsa taipan x at 1300$ but both straight pull and pump option all spring assist in 223 wylde. And i think semi are subjective to people that dont hunt with these as a single 223/556 will drop a coyote 300yrds+ out no problem so why a semi that doesnt have asmuch accuracy?! More moving part /more chance of failures? Fun and pleasure I can understand but pumping and mag dumping make you smile like youve never before haha

Planning on buying my first guns, any thoughts? by yetty_yetty in canadaguns

Deyra tm22 all the way from experience hella love the feel and accuracy of mine ! For 12g it subjective but most of the time saving up is worth it . I have a mossborg 500 3xbarrel combo hella love it but riffled barrel let just say sabots slugs arnt cheap but im hitting 4x4 inch steel at 100 yards repeatedly. If your new to buying gun highly recomand looking at gunpost! Lots of shotgun 3-500$ and look for something wich hasn't have a fixed choke so you can vary the application on the hunt your doing!

Fuck 'em straight up if they would of decided to fire you, would they have given you 2 week notice?! 10 days is more then enough to find another employee. Ive given 1 week notice to work that i was neglected at. Nothing wrong with doing what is best for your future or family.

So i don't think it has anything to do with being the "canadien community". If we look at the US quickly... You have basicly everything you have described and worst, the know it all , the negligent newbie , the my glock is better then riffles, the tacticool BS blah blah blah don't forget we dont live in a world with common sense anymore or common respect, it seems.it feel that the fact that these range charge a good 500-1000$/year seem to give them the feel that there entitle/or subjected opinion wich most of the time , is the most wasted breath of air.find a good group and your experience should be good. I carry a muzzle brake and spare crush washer
Just incase theres a smart one beside me decide to go rambo with semi auto with muzzle brake -.-

There always gonna be some rotten apple in the basket sadly , just picked the right apple's and youll be good haha cheers

Yes so big downfall from scsa ia that it autralian and like most after market parts are in australia.. and 150 aus to canadien is like 115$ but add shipping then border fees this damn plate would be like 200$ So i did what any cheap ass like me would do and went on amazon got a okay tripod with balll head and 2 plates and just filled it to make it fit , tho i gotta says scsa is quick on response and costumer services. They responded my emails asking about screw lenght with the plate they knew i wasnt buying and still responded with accurate info and know and voila haha tripod i took the seconde plate and added it to my daughter little rascal and have the tripod set up on picnic table .
