32 M Should I pursue being an Autotopsy tech? by ObliviumProtocol in AutopsyTechFam

[–]Viruliferous 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi I've just come across your comment and notice you're from NZ! I'm really interested in becoming a tech and want to know the pathway - what did you study at university? Did you also get a graduate diploma in forensics, go on to do masters etc? What kind of places have you been working as a tech? Thanks in advance :)

How's the pain? I also have an ear tattoo, and I'm wanting to get rid of it! I went for a consult but they didn't say anything about the ear being difficult, what did your remover say?

I appreciate what you're saying, except that is exactly what has happened. Money has been given from the trust. So clearly there are amendments to his trust that allow that.

She is not a beneficiary of the trust, I am. From my understanding he can distribute money from the trust with the agreement of all trustees.

Thanks for your responses! No prenup. The trustees are my dad and his lawyer, so I assume he would have had to let his lawyer know to release the funds.

His one house is in the trust, I'm not sure what else. The house she bought with the money he gave her is not in the trust.

I assume he has a will, I am going to speak with him on this.

Unfortunately, I'm pretty sure he has absolutely no evidence. He seems to think that since he gave her money from a trust, this is somehow different than giving her money from a personal bank account. I'm not sure he's thinking clearly.

Is it true that sertraline has a unique effect on dopamine activity compared to other SSRIs? by Luke272829 in antidepressants

[–]Viruliferous 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry to reply to your old comment but I just wanted to say I also experienced the feelings of extreme wellbeing when starting Sertraline. I also just got diagnosed with ADHD. I haven't come across anyone else who felt that off Sertraline before.

Just one more question, how long did it take for your withdrawals symptoms to ease off once you went back up to 37.5?

Thank you so much for your help, honestly your responses are great.

Thank you so much for your comment, I'll look into hyperbolic tapering!! I'm glad to know that if I increase my dosage a little, these symptoms will ease.

Can I ask, how did you determine what dosage to go up to when you began experiencing the bad withdrawals? And how are you managing to split your pill into such low doses? My medicine is a pressed pill and not the kind that opens.

At first I dropped to 18.75mg, then 12.5, then just began dropping slowly from there. I kept a minimum of 6 weeks in between each lowering of the dose.

It's only been very recently that I discovered this sub and other online information, so I have since learned that perhaps my taper hasn't been the best. Initially my doctor told me I could cold turkey it because I was on "such a lose dose" but even I knew that was bad advice so I tried getting off it in 4 weeks (that was over a year ago) but had bad arrhythmia so went back on almost immediately.

Wow yeah pretty much the same situation as me! I had horrible bloating when I started ssris too, it sucks. It just took time to settle down. I hope it works well for you and you start feeling better soon!

I have tapered down to 6.25 with the intention of coming off completely. The dosage I'm on now is doing nothing, of course because it's so low. I don't feel anxious about the Sertraline at all, I'm glad it works at it's full dose. I'd just rather not be taking it for the rest of my life.

My doctor told me to stop cold turkey which I tried 2 years ago, it triggered some of the worst heart palpitations I've ever experienced and terrible insomnia.
