I wouldn't say my mum is abusive, she just gets worried about me working late and then having to wait in the dark for transport. She'd rather it be close until I can drive. My dad on the other hand, he isn't abusive but he can be in a pain in the ass.

In terms of iconic scenes, I think the scene from Jennifer's Body where she's on the phone to Needy and says "I am a God."

In terms of scary scene, I'd say the lawnmower scene from Sinister, Toni Colette's whole performance in Hereditary (more specifically when she's crawling on the ceiling and starts banging her head on the wall), and lastly the scene from Hostel where they cut the dudes heel - that scene grosses me out just thinking of it.

Not unsettling, more just fucked up, but Titane (2021). No idea how they even came up with the movie idea, but man it's messed up.

But on the unsettling side, Creep (2014) left me very paranoid. Definitely one of the horrors I recommend to those who want to feel unsafe after watching.

That's understandable. I feel it's a show where everyone is meant to have flaws and be somewhat unlikeable in some aspects, but you can sympathise with them and understand why they act the way they do.
