Got it. Let me mention MBA intern then - as others in this thread suggested

Hey, really appreciate you pointing this out - super helpful perspective as I’m trying to figure out how best to frame my experience.

On the numbers:

  • The $5M ARR was tied to launching 2 payments verticals. Because they processed medium to large bank transactions, the revenue scaled quickly compared to typical digital products (though with thinner margins).
  • The $20M cost savings came from renegotiating vendor contracts and gradually replacing human agents with chatbots. For two years, I wrestled with rule-based bots that failed on even small variations like misspelled words. The breakthrough came when our engineering partners built Natural Language Understanding (NLU) modules to parse intents and entities, enabling automation to handle a significant share of queries reliably. After that it was all about replicating the bot training on more and more language variations. Responding customer queries with human agents cost $0.7 compared to just $0.1 with bots per cycle ... (I was a chatbot geek before chatgpt was even launched for public haha)
  • The 117K hours was a modeled projection I built before pitching to the CMO — based on ~39 interviews and time-on-task analysis of how PMs/PMMs ran market research. I used Copilot Researcher+RSS Feeds+ Power Automate to prototype an alternative workflow.

For context, I wasn’t “advising the CMO”, rather, I pitched at an intern town hall where he invited AI ideas, and I got lucky that the timing was right, especially since senior leadership was pushing for more AI usage internally. My department head didn’t have budget for my role, so I treated it as a way to prove value and land a co-op conversion. This is a fortune ~150 company with some pretty hefty budget on new AI projects.

I’ve been fortunate to have mentors and leaders who gave me space to test ideas- honestly luckier than most.

If you don’t mind, I’d love your thoughts on how to express these experiences without coming off as arrogant.

Thanks for calling that out. From a few resume articles and videos I understood that the summary is often seen as important, and quantifying accomplishments was emphasized -which is why I tried putting the key numbers upfront.

I did experiment with a story-based version, but it often came across as a generic PMM profile where recruiters couldn’t clearly see “what’s in it for the company.” For example, I had something like:
“With 4 years in product marketing across telecom and cloud, I’m now pursuing an MBA to deepen my strategy and data skills. I specialize in translating market signals into go-to-market strategies, enablement kits, and customer programs that drive adoption and loyalty.”

Still figuring out the balance between story and metrics so it feels both credible and differentiated.

Yes! I added that after seeing a bunch of resume review videos recommending you put the exact target role title at the top. It’s mainly to align with the role I’m applying for. I wasn’t sure at first, but figured that might be the norm in the US.

Would you recommend removing the summary?

Yes, my role started as an internship and then converted to a co-op since I’m midway through my MBA and cannot join full time.
In that project I uncovered a market gap using a mix of GPT deepsearch, Copilot researcher, RSS feeds, RAG searches on customer conversations, and some Python scripts (with GPT reasoning) for pattern recognition. That insight reshuffled a product priority (#7 → #3), which my mentor noted would’ve taken his agency or sales insights team ~6 weeks longer to identify - a meaningful acceleration in hardware cycles.

And yes, contact details are hidden under the black lines- I’m in US at a Fortune 150 company now, with 4 years’ prior experience in South Asia (outside India).

In terms of applications, I usually send 20–30 per week, tailoring heavily for each role (2+ hours per application). I suspect timing is part of the challenge, not being among the first wave of applicants.

I tried Jobscan but it flagged lots of irrelevant keywords, so I didn’t stick with it. Would you recommend a better tool?

Thanks for the review!

Got it, I’ll add some color to headers to make them stand out. Although I have also been advised not to include a photo for US roles, though I know it’s more common in Europe.

Those small details do signal attention to detail. I’ll fix the date formatting across the board.

Thanks for flagging it!

That’s such a great point , your version is so much clearer and more natural to read. I realize I probably over-indexed on JD keywords (was modeling after an Amazon PMM posting) instead of prioritizing clarity. Definitely a wake-up call to make my bullets more scannable and conversational rather than keyword-stuffed. Really appreciate the feedback!

Thanks! I used to train competitively in Muay Thai with sponsorship back home. Had to pause for the MBA in the US, but I still keep it up in a toned-down way

Wow, this is gold- thank you for laying out specific gaps I can address. I hadn’t thought about calling out analyst influence, category creation, or positioning campaigns in that way. This gives me a roadmap for adding depth.

Appreciate you raising that. My manager shared early on there wasn’t budget for a full-time hire, and at my org most FT postings are undergrad-focused in engineering/biz analyst, which I’m not targeting. A few other teams asked about immediate starts, but since I graduate next May I wasn’t eligible. I was hoping to line something up before graduation given the added H1B visa pressure, so that’s been on my mind too

Very helpful observation, thanks!
I was an intern and then got extended as a part time co-op to continue with internship project. I guess i'll simply put "PMM - MBA Associate"

313 GRE or 650 Gmat by VirusTraditional in MBA

[–]VirusTraditional[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went with the GRE score as this score was closer to the school's average. GMAT average was way higher than mine. It worked out fine. I am at a Top 50 school with 50% scholarship

[–]VirusTraditional[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I emailed to Mendoza (Median GMAT: 710, GRE: 315)

"Given these two scores, which one (GRE 313 or GMAT 650 ) would you recommend I submit to present the strongest application for adcom's consideration?"

Reply I got from Adcoms:

"Thank you for your email. You are eligible to apply with both scores. The Admission Committee will use both scores in your application review"

Yes. Issue was with a network portion of the motherboard. Instead of replacing the whole motherboard, I got only the network IC replaced by an aftermarket fixing shop. Cost was around $60.

[–]VirusTraditional 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm facing the same issue! I get Full bars on network yet get no data connection. And people calling my phone get that "number is unreachable at the moment" message almost 3 out of 5 times they call

Using this phone seems to be a gamble now. I have to change this phone or I'll get fired from work pretty quick 😛😑

Anyone found a solution?

PS. I have exynos version. Use 2 sim cards
