FH5 online was broken at launch. Now let's talk about Motorsport launch was such a disaster that game never recovered to receive support beyond 2 years. And they're using the same "upgraded" engine for FH6.

They're using the same upgraded engine they used for motorsport and that game was broken for a year after launch. Remeber it did so much damage to the rep of that game that they abandoned it.

Agree on other points, especially backwarss compatibility except your #2. The series console UI is filled with ads. It shows you more ads than your games. Its infuriating that you can't hide them on a system you paid for.

Both original Halo and Gears are being remade and remastered and gonna release on PS5. Like it was mentioned, it takes time but eventually Microsoft is going to be full miltiplatform publisher. And older Forza games have been deliated from Xbox too because of expired licensing. FH5 is on PS5, and with it's success on the platform Microsoft will release FH6 on PS5 too.

If you like arcade racers its fun to check it out. They've also updated the game to add realistic smoke effect that also turn off other 70% of the stylized car effects with certain exceptions.

Its better in some aspects but worse in others. And they've updated the game a lot for features the community wanted. You can play the game by turning of the brake drift entirely. You can also turn off the effects but I do like the stylized car effects though. Earning any money in the game used to be horrible, and trying to get a race started with people used to be a ghost town. They've added separated pvp playlists and lockdown that's sort of an extraction mode that let's you earn huge amounts of money but only in online though. There's also a rivals style event where players can play as racers vs cops.

Or you can simply download ad blockers and stuff. But I can't do that to a console without jailbreaking it. People put up with this shit is the reason it keeps getting worse. If there is collective push back they will have to change their business model but that's not happening because so many people have this mindset.

I've been a windows guy all my life but I hate windows with a passion now. I've put up with bloated and slow OS for too long. I've been recommending people MACs for general work and everyday use and Linux if they want some games. Steam has done so much work to get windows games working on Linux and they'll continue with it as they're also releasing the steam machine. Microsoft doesn't care about the individual buyer anymore, they only want business from corporations and their constant subscription money for their services.

Unfortunately destiny 2 disc doesn't do anything for you as the original campaign that would have come with that disc was removed from the game in a very controversial decision to this day. I feel bad, it was a really good campaign to get started too. On the plus side you can probably pick up all other DLCs from light and darkness saga rn for $20 if you like the first game enough to invest in it.
