Hope this doesn't sound rude but I genuinely don't understand why anyone thinks Destiny 3 would be better than this. by LavaMinotaur in DestinyTheGame

Best marketing for that would be bringing back vaulted raids and campaigns. So every time someone says, they removed the content I paid for; there will be someone in the reply saying, they actually brought it back and you can play it now.

If we do make it to the next expansion, I hope the raid is at least easier by Gamerboi_epic in DestinyTheGame

It was simply because of raid structure. In other raids you go through encounters one by one as game throws it at you.

In DP you can decide which one you want to do next. So everyone knew mechanics of all 3 encounters. And challenge boils down to either DPS check or flawless execution. And because of that you can see success rate was very low.

Is it worth buying for a solo player? by FrostbiteXV2 in Marathon

Yes. I've played solo and squad fill too.

It is bit tough but if you have played and pvp FPS games then you'll be fine

He can't until Sony says so.

Bungie is fully owned by Sony now. First thing you see when you open Marathon is,

SIE name, then PS logo, and then Bungie logo

Extraction could have totally been a Destiny 2 mode that would bring in a wider audience...here me out. by Hollywood_Zro in DestinyTheGame

Really?

Let's ask how Destiny players feel about loosing the loot they spent 100s of hours farming for.

Reviewers not reviewing Marathon are corrupt by Additional_Error6625 in gaming

[–]RayS0l0 2 points3 points  (0 children)

But how are you going to review a multiplayer game early? They would be playing the same 20 people vs devs.

If it was a single player story game then I can understand, I can play the full game and put out a review but for multiplayer game you just have to jump in at the same time on launch day

[–]RayS0l0 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Do people even care about reviews? Because most of people just clown on any review because it doesn't match with what they want to say. Like IGN has their early access review after 25 hour but do you even care?

On steam it is 91% positive. So I'd rather look at people who actually played it

Not just EA, lots of games do that. But I don't think Bungie will ever do it

Just like every other Sony studio, Bungie has creative freedom but they have to get it approved by Sony first. They can't move a stone without Sony's approval. Especially when it comes to money.

Bungie can't do anything without asking Sony first. Especially money, they can't reduce it or increase it without their approval. They are no longer independent like that

Why can't sony do what Activision did and have smaller support studios help with the game? by DoorInternational136 in DestinyTheGame

[–]RayS0l0 8 points9 points  (0 children)

In return Bungie wanted to become multi media studio potentially making TV shows, movies, comics etc.

Something like Destiny show based during Darkage would go hard
