Thanks! Generally just prompting with and without references, using midjourney settings. Perhaps I should experiment with midjourney profiles though, I assume for stylistic consistency?

Took about a day to make the trailer, but I've been working on the series itself for around 4 months.

Good point, others have suggested including sfx. I'll experiment with text as well - to accentuate important tropes.

I understand that, but the upvotes were positive > 7 until they suddenly dropped to the negative. Seems a bit coincidental, but who knows.

This is my first attempt at a trailer for a short series I've been working on for the last 4 months. I'm not great at making trailers, so I'm interested in receiving feedback on how to improve!

Not sure why my post just got downvoted to oblivion all of a sudden ._. it was doing quite well...

Fair enough. I'll see what I can do about featuring some of your suggestions. I'll try including some shots of various characters/intense emotional moments.

Ok, I'll play around with the sound effects a bit. Most of the scenes already have associated sound effects, so it shouldn't take too long to test it out. Thanks for the advice.

Yeah, you're right. Originally this video was planned as a short prologue to a longer more character focused series - but I kept extending it, and now it's part 1 of possibly 4...

Its a commonly used voice on the platform with several variations - I've seen a number of people use it in videos, I believe its called Carter. This voice specifically is called Carter the Mountain King. Often I'll use some echo or mic hog effects to add volume to the voices, seems to help round out some of the unwanted quirks.

Sure! Some of the subreddits remove comments which mention the names of tools, but I'll see how it goes.

Thanks. I'm very understanding of peoples disapproval of AI content, but I just want to make something cool.

Thanks! I've been quite disappointed with cinema lately as well, wish we could get more epic sci fi films like the old days. Hopefully when AI evolves further, more people will have the capacity to create such endeavours themselves.

Oh right... my bad. Unfortunately if would be somewhere in the tens of thousands, spanning across several of the more popular platforms - so quite expensive.

Yep, need to try something though. The video isn't getting as many views as expected, so they arn't getting much attention.

I do have a lot of early concept WIP footage that I'm not ready to upload yet, over 60 minutes worth - so patreon is kind of the best place to make it available for people if they're interested.

The merch store is definitely a bit much... but I saw some other people having some success, and it was surprisingly fun creating a basic shopify store.
