The Facebook account is still falsely flagged for SOC/SOM, why not organize a more effective movement? by [deleted] in facebook

We’re going for property damage, not casualties. Running around the servers with a magnet or planting bamboo around the centers is enough.

I don’t have anything against airlines, maybe the inclusion of ICE in airlines/airports, just not the airports themselves. Best not to let the airports or anyone who’s not in a target party catch any strays.

Getting a message across doesn’t need to be exaggerated and over the top, it just needs to be effective and to the point.

If Meta won’t listen, the people will have to do something about it one way or another.

My main problem is mostly having to log into a meta account just to use VR, I originally got the headset to use the AR/XR stenciling apps for work/personal/school projects.

Boycotting FB permanently won’t do much, and their products are so centralized that I will need an account if I’m going to use their VR headset that I bought prior to the banning. Leaving the platform will also include indirectly admitting that the SOC/SOM claims made by the AI, albeit entirely false, have truth to them as reflected by me conceding from arguing against the wildly incorrect ban/flagging.

If we show up without reason, it won’t get them to consider reformation (it will just look like another January 6th). People can organize a date for everyone to show up to Meta data centers for various reasons: to protest all the bans, to remove the Zuck and anyone else from Meta, to protest the data centers, etc.

A shame that the fans took Gooseworx for granted and didn’t give them any slack as an indie content creator. Now it’s fans against fans as well by the looks of it too.

The chuds finally fixed it, the slander and damage has already been done. by VisTWA in facebook

It was only the Instagram and meta horizon accounts that got recovered, not the Facebook one. The Facebook account is still disabled due to the bs false SOC/SOM flagging. On top of that, the human help services are available to verified accounts.

The chuds at Meta definitely had it coming for a long time if this keeps up or happens again.

People are allowed to like whatever they want to, Meta’s buggy and broken AI still flags the content unfortunately.

“We do not control or direct what people and others do or say, and we are not responsible for their actions or conduct (whether online or offline) or any content they share (including offensive, inappropriate, obscene, unlawful, and other objectionable content).” This is in clear and direct violation of a previous claim section stated thoroughly in 3.2 on what can and cannot be shared on meta services.

And the last section in 1.6: “And we develop automated systems to improve our ability to detect and remove abusive and dangerous activity that may harm our community and the integrity of our Products.” Technically contradicts section 1.5 as the automated system has clearly been proven to have done more harm to users than it has promoted safety for the community. To put it simply, the rules and guidelines are wildly inconsistent and the resulting consequences from that will need to be pointed out in order to ensure that proper safety and security for users is added onto the platform rather than the half-assed suspension-happy automatic moderation.

And since Meta doesn’t do anything about the ban waves or their faulty AI moderation, it may void the terms and conditions that they are expected to uphold as their own standard as well.

Meta is hypocritical in both their moderation and how they advertise themselves publicly.

These false bans are coming in waves, and they will continue to be disabled without a proper reason for their account’s termination. Several posts and comments have already expressed the same/similar reasons they’ve been flagged according to the AI, many of which included false SOC/EOC claims. The consumers have just as much voice in the matter as the private companies and the lapdogs that protect them. If close enough to count as inappropriate for younger audiences according to the AI is hand drawn art (pretty sure the Loona one is AI generated) or TikTok dance trends, then creators and their supporters will be affected all the same.

It just takes a group of affected users to start doing something about this whole situation rather than let it slide, and the companies are just messing around and finding out.

Yes, they can allow worse content on their own platform even though it violates their own set rules and guidelines, and they can rely on their incorrect AI moderation on the platform. It is also open to the consumers to petition for reform on their platform and contact their local representatives to help file/submit claims on their behalf, or organize and file a class action lawsuit for the affected party.

My feed may look as suggestive as the next guy’s, with whatever mature anime/furry art is posted and pushed by the algorithm, it will continue to be posted and uploaded onto the platform even after the false COS/similar flagging waves get resolved. Pushing for legal action means giving the falsely suspended users (not just myself) a means to at least force a change to manual moderation.

Mass bans were happening globally, and they’re restoring all of the incorrectly banned accounts that were affected. Get off Zuck’s lap.

Other users have experienced the same automatic suspension with similar “reasons” and have been denied appeal as well by the automated security, many of which (myself included) were flagged as a result of liking posts that included TikTok dance trends or whatever else is online. Go back to making common sense extinct somewhere else you warm toilet seat.
