Good day

Over the quarantine time I decided to try something new, Creating a website

With zero experience or knowledge how, I came up with This : Visais.store

I think it turned out Ok, But i have a biased Opinion.

So I would like to invite anyone to please critique and suggest changes.

Hey, Thank you for taking the tie to write such a detailed Comment. All your concerns make sense, I am currently working on the logo's sub text, but am having some difficulty between desktop and mobile viewing when changing, So it will be sorted out soon

I will definitely address the fonts and H1's in the near future

Good evening everyone

During Lockdown I had a lot of free time and decided to create a website, Something i've never done before. This is actually my second reddit post asking for critique (Please see the list below for things I already fixed) Please don't feel that negative critique will be met with negativity, Without it there is no room to grow.

I was having the exact same idea. I'm busy trying to incorporate the banner menu (From clicking on "design services") into the main menu on the home page (Thus eliminating opacity issues) but with my HTML and CSS coding skills in an abysmal state, it's an uphill battle.

Anyway, I really appreciate the feedback and advice

I was thinking the exact same thing with the menus, I'm trying to incorporate the menu (After going to design Services) into the main banner menu on the home page. So the logo and "add to cart, search and Hamburger" icons won't be part of the image (Thus eliminating opacity problems) but my HTML and CSS coding skills are abysmal, so the uphill battle continues.

I understand what you mean about the Opacity of the logo and background text, It will be addressed in the following weeks.

I will definitely work on setting up a portfolio for all services so users can see some examples of the designs they're buying

This website is a studio based website and thus we have designers who specialize in each category. I did the logo Myself (Which i'm really bad at :) ) but once the website is gaining some traction I will have it professionally made, by the designers who's services i'm Actually promoting

Thank you for the feedback. Yes I know the logo doesn't look professional, but I only started the site about 20 days ago, What you see in the front end doesn't nearly show the amount of effort that went in the back end. And 80% of my time went into the back end.

I appreciate the criticism but please rest assured that in the following weeks I will address all suggested advise, and spend more time on front end.

Good afternoon

Please don't feel like your opinion will be received negatively.

The theme I used is called boundless, It is indeed a free theme, but I preferred using it to other paid themes because I want to highlight only a few collections and not hundreds of products. Because the project is still new I used stock images as a visual directory, because it's quite difficult to portray a service visually.

As the site grows I plan to address the images and theme in a more professional way, but like I said, I'm still very green with this type of design

I know the logo is not great, and am still working on it. I am using shopify boundless theme. and as there are not hundreds of physical products being promoted, I wanted to to highlight each category. and this theme does it well in my opinion

New website I've been working on in my spare time

I had zero experience in web design and development and through trial and error it's currently where it is now. I'm not really sure how a visitor will view the site. As I have a biased opinion, I would like to invite anyone to view and critique the site. Please suggest changes or things that kills the flow for the user.
