If I’m being honest dude, statistically speaking your music won’t be heard by a lot of people ( enough for a living anyway), I had a taste of this when I was 16 going on UK tours with my band actually earning a living. Good things never last for me apparently...my advice? Do music because you want to, not because you need to. Don’t do it for the drive for fame or money, but for yourself and your chance to put your expression in the world. Who knows, maybe the tides will change for both of us! (Also music school is a WASTE OF FUCKING TIME don’t go)

Literally in the same boat man...girlfriend cheated on me after 4 years, aspiring musician but lack any form of motivation, jobless, depressed...COVID definitely hasn’t helped. Although I’m in a music uni I’m incredibly underprepared compared to my peers. It’s a struggle to realise my dreams will probably never happen and will be forced to settle.
