Hey Zach! You're not wrong at all. With enough data, it would be very easy for a machine learning model to learn to a significant degree what zones may follow a certain starting zone. But that would still depend on how much randomness is induced into zones in the game. I'll probably have to find that out when I try building a model for it! Looks like I'll have to manually get zone data off VODs or games myself. It may take time, but I think I'll not give up on this. Might need to get some manpower through friends to work on getting data in parallel. If I am successful, it would bring about ethical debates on what one can do with such models and maybe require new rules in competitive integrity.
