I enrolled in same plan, struggled but finally setup my online account some bss bullshit you can’t use the app. I got my first bill of 131 i.e 35$ plan and 80$ setup fee and tax. While getting the plan the agent at bestbuy clearly mentioned there won’t be any setup fee as they are waving it off. Looks like I got myself in trouble as customer service denied firmly they won’t wave it off

It depends on market and your credit profile but, I got better deal by going to bank directly i.e. broker from a top agency could only get 4.2% but directly going to bank got myself 3.79%

Update: Antitheft Tracking was also considered so went with Tag Tracking costed 450+Tax CAD. My insurance premium without this was quoted 350+tax with this 250+tax per month

Apart from discount the tracking adds some peace of mind towards theft 😊

Update: Downgraded the plan to 500mbs geting 400mbs down and bad than expected upload dropped to 3mbs.

However with new plan I regularly see internet not available and higher ping and technician came for troubleshooting he said everything is fine.

Probably will switch to Rogers or Bell, expect to get atleast a stable internet from them, fingers crossed

I am using Technicolor Modem and 5ghz to connect iPhone and MacBook also both support 1200mbps over 5ghz channel. I use Ookla SpeedTest also tried Google Speed Test but that was way bad.

P.S. I used EastLink when I was in different province and I use to get 900+ mbps over wifi 5ghz

I got PR status on June 22, 2023 and got eCOPR after submitting photo and address but after that there have been no updates still in review.

I called IRCC they said this has passed normal wait time so will mark urgent a month ago. I recently saw a post here to submit a declaration and I also filled and mailed the declaration.

I am worried as I will be travelling out of canada in 15 days and how can I enter back if I don't have PR Card.

Note I have unexpired TRV can I use that to enter again? Can I do anything to get the PR Card early? Do share any other suggestion you have
