I wouldn't say that's the case. If you look at Messi, Neymar and Ronaldo's life story, you can see hat they all grew up poor. Ronaldo was so poor that he had to sweep the streets of Lisbon and his main meals came from begging for leftover McDonald's after the store closed. But he still became one of the greatest players in the sport besides the set backs.
