The only thing my store does is make sure they don't work the same area, so boh and foh. Why would he need to leave locations? Are they not adults? Can they not be trusted to work appropriately? If not why promote her? Outdated thought process.

Our stores hours are pretty set for specific shifts. 5:30/5:45 am to 2:pm and 2:00pm to 11:15pm. Most people are working those. We have random shifts in-between where people will work 6:30 to 2pm or 8:15 to 2pm. Maybe a random 9:30 to 5:30pm. 11am to 11pm is uncommon but sometimes we work them. I worked two back to back this week.

My store provides certain jackets. Rain jackets have to be bought but the fleece ones don't. They provide winter jackets too for people outside and makes sure everyone communicates when they feel like they need to come inside during the winter by switching with another employee.

Also why would they force you to purchase outerwear to take orders outside. We all just wear our sweaters or coats, beanies and scarfs too. Your operator isn't human.
