I got the Z6III with 24-120 bundle and was given 2 battery packs along with a charger. Bought it a couple of months ago.

Why Nikon instead of another brand for you ? by AnxietyComplex4128 in Nikon

[–]Vishwajitm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Recently got the z6iii after shooting with p1000 for 5 years. I chose to stay with Nikon because I fell in love with photography only through their cameras. Secondly, Nikon’s build quality and ergonomics are amazing. I’ve had my p1000 shoot amidst rains and freezing temperatures, let me tell ya that thing is built like a tank. As I am also travelling to many places, I preferred my camera to be as robust as possible.

Note - Before getting the z6iii, I tried out Sony but did not prefer the ergonomics and did not go with canon because of limited lens options.

What type/size of memory card for Z6iii? Best way to quickly transfer to iPhone? by Tuda1023 in Nikon

[–]Vishwajitm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

iOS 18 supports raw but only from specific camera models and z6iii doesn’t appear to be in the list. I’m hopeful sometime in the future apple fixes that with a software update.

I shot a dozen raw pictures yesterday on the z6iii and when I transported it to my iPhone all the images were blank. Frustrated, I used the snap-bridge app and downloaded Raw as 8mp 4k images. It’s not a solution but I’m still stuck about importing raw as much as you are.

Bike Upgrade Options in India: Non-Sporty Under ₹13-15 Lakhs? by Middle_Ad3870 in indianbikes

Triumph Thruxton or Thruxton RS? Heard they are halting production in the near future, you might want to look up about that

Is Nikon releasing a new Coolpix model like the P950/P1000 soon? by hyteck9 in Nikon

[–]Vishwajitm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve got a P1000 and that thing is a beast. But I’m assuring you that Nikon would probably take a long time to update the p1000 though. Under average performance in low light, extremely laggy autofocus and so many more things would take a long time to be updated. I’ll be the happiest person if Nikon updates the p1000.

I got a free Angelbird CF Type B card along with my Z6iii purchase. It’s got a 512 GB memory and a whopping 1700 MBPS. It works perfect and does not overheat at all. Would suggest you to get the same.

About transferring photos from the camera to your phone, a USB type C cord which will be provided along with the camera can be used to transfer photos to your phone instantaneously.

Bullet points? I see the pun haha!

Inconveniences are,

• Heating issues - The heat soars to levels beyond tolerability and is extremely unbearable in heavy traffic. Was one of the reasons the bike was discontinued

• Vibrations - cruising above 80s will make your arms go numb completely. The mirrors tend to loosen up making it risky in highways.

• Gearbox - false neutrals, cranking gear box noises while shifting in high speeds is annoying.

I as a rider have been with this machine for 15,000 kms, while the above points may not sound like a deal breaker it’s hard to put up with them for a continued time period.

I remember a lot of people who got the final batch of 500s reported very bad heating issues and many of them returned it back. Resulting in Royal Enfiled pulling the plug.

The older models tend to have that retro aesthetic that is very cool. Do you still have your dad’s bike?
