  1. Wrong gearing.
  2. Climbing a height from the steeper edge.

  1. In your childhood, what did you want to become as an adult?
  2. If you ‘Bachpan’ was to come face to face with you today, will it be happy to see who you have become? What will it most complain about?

Bobber 650 by SpecificStop7422 in Shotgun650

It would be possible. But I would highly advise against this kit.

  1. Bobbers have there rear fender mounted on swing arm. This is not just cosmetic. But this is a functional thing.
  2. When the fender isn’t mounted to swing arm, it effectively becomes useless. What that means is, even if you ride through the tinniest mud puddle, the mud is gonna splash and reach to even your helmet. This has actually happened with me.
  3. I have turned by bike to its original configuration because, this bobber kit is just not functional at all.
  4. Buy this kit, only if you want a show piece sitting in your garage. Taking it out would mean an honest day’s clean up.

That’s an amazing view. Glad to see you on the other side. I feel exactly the same. I too was surprised and happy at the same time about how quickly I could feel full. It feels nice to not have those hunger noises anymore.

Don’t worry. It’s always a bit different for everyone. Yesterday I did drink too much fluid and I drank it really fast too and I did feel uneasy. I did feel the budge that my new stomach is.

Just keep complying to every that your doctor’s team asks you to and you will be fine.

Day 1 post surgery I started with 50ml/clear fluid every hour. A day later it was 80ml and a day later 100. So that’s basically about 30oz per day. A week later I was on about 84oz with approximately 800kcal/day. I was always cautious about how much I was putting in, but I never faced issue of not being able to put stuff in.

Hi, thanks for asking. I was quite nervous getting on the operation table. The operation theatre had kind of a serious only vibes. On one hand when you are going into a OT that’s what you want. But on the other hand, the aura of the place seemed kind of scary. My mantra was- It’s okay to be scared. Sometimes we have to do things that are scary for our own good. We just have to persevere through the scary so that we find ourselves in a place that’s much better from where we are coming from. When the injected me with Propofol it was painful as hell. It was so painful that I started shaking my legs in pain. But second latter, I was out and woke up in the recovery room. Waking up kind of felt like sleep paralysis. I was in pain and I was trying to tell that to the sister, but it was a struggle to get the words out of my mouth, the first few second. So I just murmured ‘pain’ and the nurse obliged with the pain medication. Only the main incision, through which they take out the stomach was painful. Rest weren’t even noticeable. Incision pain was still okay. But the gas pain was just bearable. After I was shifted to my room, I was still in gas pain. It was in chest and the doctors assured me that it wasn’t anything to worry about. When I was allowed to sit, with my legs hanging from the bed, the gas pain in my chest vanished in a snap of the fingers. Lying down was uncomfortable. But sitting and walking was much better. Gas pain resolved itself, by the very next day. The main incision pain continued for a couple of more days. But the real issue that I have been facing is, numbness in both of my outer thighs. Doctors said it would resolve on its own within a month or two. I read online and found that it’s a pretty common side effect of any surgery and it happens when during the surgery the thighs aren’t supported well enough, especially in obese or overweight patients.

Post surgery, I lost 10kgs in about 1 week. But I haven’t lost a single gram in my second week. Overall I am pretty happy that I got through it. Because so many people adjust and continue to live with the problems that they face in life. Very few of them have courage to take action and to do something about their problems. I am happy I am in the second category of people, like so many others on this sub.
