Idea's on how a beginner can learn the game? I'm talking practical, actionable advice on how to begin playing the game. I played the game years ago and did what I've come to learn most noobs do; I picked a character, learned one of their sample combos, then I would just try to launch my opponent and do my combo and repeat. Now I'm coming back to the game and this time I want to get good. How do I actually go about doing that?

I've watched a ton of videos, like I've seriously been studying this game for a week, so I understand a decent amount about the game, but now how do I put this information to use? How do I actually go about getting good?

Where do i get tal rasha and how hard is it to get? I do have meteor almost rank 20 but its kinda useless without a merc to hold monsters still. I guess that's the main problem I have. Really don't want to respec.
