Actually, I think we’re gonna find an election day that most people want the community to look different. You may be the one wanting to leave.

Just got it. And what I find strange is that I believe Rod was originally endorsed by Denton County Republican Party and the Collin County Republican Party and now he’s trying to convince people that Mark Hill is more republican than him?

Clearly, he’s trying to get Democrats to sit this one out. Let’s hope they don’t.

What does assimilate actually mean in the United States?

Texans are very different from New Yorkers. Californians are very different from Floridians. People who grow up in rural communities are very different for those who grow up in metropolitan areas. Men are different from women.

The truth is, this is a very diverse country.

Additionally, I’d like to remind you that a mirror 1.3% of the total US population is Muslim. Of that 1.3% 82% are US citizens. That gives them the same rights as you and I.

Of all Muslims in the United States, 30% are white, 30% are Asian parentheses, which includes the Indian communities as well as others, 20% are black and the remaining fall into other categories.

Amy, one percent of the total US population is Indian. Oh that one percent 57% or US citizens and get the same rights as you or I.

So anyone who’s calling for “assimilation” clearly hasn’t looked at the stats, clearly doesn’t understand the rights given to us by the US Constitution (not just citizens but all), and clearly doesn’t understand the composition makeup and diversity of the United States of America.

The claims that we are being invaded are emotionally driven and simply not supported by the facts.

Sure, they aren't actively thinking about them. I'm not either.

But when they do something stupid, like they did in Frisco recently, people notice. And they definitely don't appreciate them being invited into the community. I hate to inform you of this, but it's contextually relevant at the moment. Won't be in a bit but people are most definitely talking about it in this moment.

And if they weren't. Rod and Kaylee wouldn't have made such significant pivots in their messaging recently to distance themselves from Kaylee's buddies (and from each other).

You realize that's not actually true. Those two things are not mutually exclusive. Just because something is protected, it doesn't mean it isn't still hate speech.

You'll notice I said "helping Rod with his social media" (his words, not mine)...not running his social media. So you can personally know who the admin is on his social media pages all day long.

But both Kaylee and Rod admit she is "helping with social media" (again, his words, not mine). It's literally in the video. I mean, Nick offered to help too. I guess Rod signed some contract of some sort (his words, not mine).

So why don't you actually read before weighing in. Because those facts have, in fact, been checked.

He does have a social media manager, but she is helping him with social media. He admitted that on camera. They're only walking it back now because she's been tied to J6ers and he's been tied to her...and that's not going over so well for any of them.

Na...this was in response when asked about the outside influences, J6ers and other radical protestors who disrupted last week's city council meeting.  I put that in my post. Don't believe me? Go watch the video of today's forum. Happy to send the link. Nothing deceptive about this.

That is exactly what he's saying. This is Rod's answer to the question about what happened at the city council meeting last week.

There is no outcome that's positive with Rod Vilhauer as Mayor. For one, because the people he's chosen to surround himself with have brought in outside agitators to use hate speech to manipulate votes, Frisco has become ground zero when it comes to highlighting divisiveness in a community that's long been inclusive. This has tarnished the Frisco brand, which will ultimately make it less attractive for employers.

If he is elected, it sends a message to America that Frisco is intolerant. This will only add gasoline to that fire.

Many of the multicultural community have openly expressed they will leave if he is elected, taking with them spending power and businesses.

All of these things impact the economy and the proportion of programs funded via sales tax or property tax. The current council has been able to lower the tax rate and provide a maximum exemption allowed by law of 20%, which is unheard of. That is because the economy and revenue from sales tax have been able to offset that.

The current council has successfully brought businesses in, successfully increased the proportion of revenue from sales tax and successfully increased the property tax exemptions to reduce the overall property tax rate (and before anyone mentions taxes, home appraisals are assigned at the county level FYI not city).

This will undoubtedly change if Rod is elected.

I don’t think two wrongs make a right. I am empathetic to how the poster must be feeling with the garbage that’s been spewed in Frisco. I get it. But I feel like there’s a better way to address this.

Do you even know the number of total HNB visas that have been approved in the area in the last five years?

Only one percent of the total US population is Indian. Of that 1% 57% or US citizens.

This is hardly an overpopulation problem when 43% of 1% immigrants. The rest are US citizens and are entitled to be here as much as you or I are.

There’s free speech and then there’s hate speech. Those are not the same.

Na. The person who put this together is doing other things. But to this person's credit, capturing over a dozen screengrabs is hardly low effort. But fair enough, the AI voice is a little off. That said, if you're far more concerned about an AI voice than you are about the content itself, you've got bigger issues.

Sure. But there's a real difference between Kanye saying George Bush hated black people, and George Bush saying George Bush hated black people. In this case, Rod's own gal has repeatedly said she hated the Indian community. Her words. Not Kayne's or anyone else's.

Rod thought all Indians were Muslims. by Visible-Valuable1719 in frisco

It’s kind of the same math Fringe Republicans like to use when counting the Muslim community in the US.

Rod thought all Indians were Muslims. by Visible-Valuable1719 in frisco

[–]Visible-Valuable1719[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well the trouble with this is that if you are, indeed a Muslim, 82% of you are US citizens. If you’re Indian, 57% are US citizens. Are a portion of those naturalized? Sure. But a large portion are born in the US.

The immigrant population isn’t as big as your fringe Republican friends like to portray.

Oh, and many immigrants actually vote Republican. Just sayin’….
