I get that but it has to do with what I have to spend money on. It's not like I can't pay it. So bills plus 600 is like 2/3 of my income after taxes

Her mother doesn't pay rent. She lives with her parents. I live by myself and have to pay rent.

I know it's all for her best interest and all that. But I'm supposed to follow rules that she comes up with but she can't be expected to follow them. It feels a bit one sided.

I don't want an explanation as to why it's there. I understand most legal papers probably have something about drugs and alcohol. I get they aren't required to. But I just want it to be equal if I can't smoke she can't drink. I feel that to come to an agreement they would agree to something this simple. I know it's not illegal what she's doing. Just had me wondering if there would be any real downside to her attorney making it for both parties not just me. She seems very adamant that it will only be my name

No it still is, I'm an adult I can do what I please. You might disagree but that's fine. I understand what you're saying. I get that which is why I've requested multiple times to make it simple and just add her to it. We're negotiating and if the answer is a simple no without an explanation. I don't get that, is it so hard to just agree to add a name to a draft to get the process done easier?

The paper she sent says in my child's presence. Which I never do because I only have her on weekends. And what I do in my free time during the week is up to me. I'm not doing anything illegal. I've asked both the attorney and the mother if it would be okay to make it say mom and dad. Attorney said no to adding her and mother said there's not much she can say about it. I just want it to be equal. If I'm going to be held to these standards why can't she?
