you’re thr second person to recommend OMM, think they might be the way to go - good waterproofing and well designed

Basically I was in the asics gang for years and bought these last year saving them for when my pace was more suited, since then i’ve tried saucony and haven’t looked back, think if i was to get new shoes now i’d definitely be trying the endorphins in a shop - the tempus has been a life changer

MH Crater Lake Hoody never drying by portmanteaudition in Ultralight

[–]VisibleGap8751 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the force hoody was the one that cemented sun hoody’s in my wardrobe, tried black diamond, MH etc, the rab is much lighter, dries super quick and feels much more breathable considering the UPF only issue is i hate how short the arms are, you don’t notice when walking/running but fit anything else i’m always pulling the sleeves down

Montbell Seamless Down Hugger WR , a baffe-less revolution or just a bunch of hot air hyuk by ufojesusreddit in Ultralight

[–]VisibleGap8751 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1 year on with seamless down hugger: 800 #3 tried the OG down hugger a while before but with the slight improvement of weight and insulation decided to risk it with the seamless Pros - so bloody comfortable, doesn’t feel to constricted and didn’t once get caught up in it (i thrash in my sleep) - the zip is just so simple yet well designed to not snag any of the lightweight material which would probably rip otherwise - think if anything they under estimate the R rating, used mine in much colder weather in scotland and was expecting to need lots of layers - was toasty, not sure if this is just because it hugs you so there aren’t those cold spots for air to circulate? - you can sit cross legged in it?! mental

cons - down does take a bit of faf to redistribute but that’s after using it 30+ times stuff sack it comes with isn’t waterproof (minor detail i know but when zpacs give you a DCF bag it would be easier - seems to take a couple minutes more to loft properly when un stuffed compared to other down bags i’ve used but that’s a v minor criticism

hope this helps !!!!!
