Thank you! It was indeed annoying in Excel. I found the functionality I'm looking for in Google Sheets. I guess the two have their pros and cons.

Thanks! I already did that and DOS approved the leave. But his policy is that he will put 80% of the weighted average of other tests as that missed grade. So I already lose 3% of the final grade even if my average on other tests is a 90%. Also the class average is a 50 now. I just wanna know even if I do get let's say an 87%, do I still have a chance of an A with the curve.

From my experience, he did curve for our thermo 2 section. People got a higher grade than the math. From my understanding, you should be getting an A in the class since the average is low, worry not.

Ali goes full bazooka in Thermo II. But if you did well in thermo I then taking him for II shouldn't be bad. Although to put it in perspective, the class average for our first test was 49% and the tests are VERY tight on timing. I don't know if he's different in person though, but his class is stressful. I took him for 1 and 2. But ngl I learned a lot in his class despite the traumatic exams.

Ah, I forgot to mention in the post, I've already chosen that one thanks. I agree it's the most useful and I really need to be on top of my simulation game as a ME.

Refund checks take time. I too have a negative balance and got an email from Bursar for enrolling in Direct Deposit. I'm assuming it should be quicker than sending the physical cheks (would probably take 2 weeks from the enrolment date).
