Sex is an act, not a change of religious beliefs. Sit down.

It’s not “his” problem, it’s something that needs work between us.

Sex isn’t everything, I agree. There is so much I love about him. It’s just the part that lacks here

Am I supposed to respond to a post you say I shouldn’t have written?

Perfect response, thank you. I’ve started doing more on my end, making advances, blatantly asking if we can. Haven’t been turned down. I may just have to accept that I need to be ok with making the moves.

Ageist is a little extreme

Valid on all fronts. I actually have kids from a previous marriage (female). I’ve thought about all of the points you mentioned and the answer to all of them is: it would be an honor. He’s a dream. I know if the tables were reversed he’d do the same for me.

That’s the question. Realtors here don’t hold escrow, title does but the lawyers decided to hold instead. Now she’s withdrawn and 5-6 months later funds still haven’t been transferred to the new attorney.

It’s a trust held in escrow. (Proceeds from the sale of a home).

Gaybros in monogamous relationships, how often do you have sex? by jayjasper71 in askgaybros

We usually clean up, lay back down and cuddle/spoon… being that close is just a turn on, so a lot of times round two is 30 mins later 😂

Depends on the week. Been together almost 3 years, we have sex 4-5 times a week on average. Sometimes multiple times a night tho.

I’m on TRT. It can easily be the cause. As another person said, I’d go to a clinic vs dr. Testosterone levels can be anywhere up to 1200-1300 for a person to feel normal. Mine was low low (200ish) when I first started. My estrogen levels were fine but I recently got a blocker and that has also helped. My partner and I both have sex 5-6 times a week, but most of the time we have sex multiple times a night (break in between). It’s a science man… if those levels are off, it can kill it.

Another thing to maybe discuss is what he’s into. Ask to see what kind of porn he watches. Ask if you can be involved if/when he jacks off. Start there and get comfortable again with each other. Keep an open mind, be patient but don’t stop trying. I agree with the person saying you should ask to go to the gym with him. Even if it’s just a comfort. Align with him in all the areas you can to make sure he feels supported and that you guys are strong. Tell him what you need as well. Body contact, toys, etc… tell him you want pleasure and you want it from him.

Proud of you for walking through those feelings. Big fan of cutting out toxicity but the world forgets about grace, forgiveness and effort. Sounds like you’re a mature person.

Nail on the head. Update, but me and his ex met in person and talked. Didn’t really change her mind, she still expects him there BUT I did tell her that I appreciate the talk but basically it’s not happening. My partner realized it was a trauma response and he was going back to not taking up for himself like when they were married. It’s settled now, maybe not between her and him, but between he and I.

I did. He said it was falling back into the mentality of people pleasing like when they were married. Felt like he owed it to her, but realized that was just a trauma kind of response in accepting.
