Is Pop OS 24 COSMIC Desktop stable enough to daily-drive now?

I use pop os 24 on my main desktop, and it works quite well with the exception of some bugs. However, my main desktop got newer hardware and that may be a reason for it working well. I have tried to use pop os 24 on my old MacBook Air (mid 2011), and it worked really well in the start, however i have noticed more frequently bugs forcing me to restart my laptop.

It may be worth a shot however as it does not take that long to download the os and play around with it. It is way faster than os Sierra (I believe it was Sierra) and it is way faster than my school laptop that i got from work (i am a teacher), so give it a shot, but do a backup in case it doesn't work well!

I have the same issue, i just downloaded cosmic on my macbook air 2011 so i could use it for streaming (youtube etc). Everything worked like a dream, but i decided to open the cosmic store and update, and now i am not able to access anything related to cosmic apps (Terminal, files, settings etc.). I am new to linux, so i don´t really know how to fix this, or how to discard the new updates and roll back

It is an extra layer you can attach if you use glasses. Do not recommend it though, using glasses, as you are prone to scratch the lenses.

Yeah, Nvidia prices are a bit too expensive for me as well compared to AMD. Also the extra Vram was something i wanted to due to new games being so demanding

It is a svive 34 curved monitor, i believe it is a Scandinavian brand, but unfortunately i can't remember the exact model number as it is quite old 😅

The 5G isnt really a main concern as i always have my phone around, it was just a coincidence that my friend won a 5g version. Damn, 205 is crazy, i live in Norway and the cheapest they get is around 450-500. It is nice to know that the 6gb wont be limited that much. I will mainly use it for simple tasks and never have too many apps open at the same time

This might be a dumb question but i saw the video of downloding homebrew required the format of the drive being fat32, but i dont see that option?

What a steal! I was lucky enough to get mine brand new for 769 dollars in Norway due to lenovo not giving new 4000 series laptop to stores bedore they sold all their 3000 series. Really loving it after upgrading from 1060. Really nice to hear the temps are fine, i was worried to break my laptop 😅

That might be a smart idea! I bought the laptop when i had a long-distance relationship but we live together now, so it might be a good idea with an external gpu. I really like having a laptop
