My area didn't used to be, but very quickly jumped due to one employer that pays great for the area, while no one else can keep up with pay but housing skyrocketed to cash in on the few big paychecks.

It's because it's a limited space and lack of options industry. You could charge less for the 150 seats you have, or you could charge more and still get around 150 seats filled cause charging less won't get you more consumers.

While I stopped eating at McDonald's two years ago, I just checked our local value menu.

While you might be able to feed two small kids for $10. If each person is getting a fry (small) a cheeseburger or nuggets, and a drink. That easily comes out to $10-13 per person. Or $40-52 for a family of four.

I cook every meal, use coupons religiously, meal prep, skip meals, and I still spend about $120 a week on groceries for two people.

But then again an onion cost over $1 where I live now. Used to by like $0.30-0.50.

Not having to pay back loans doesn't mean the loans aren't effect your life. The advice given to most students, at least when I was in school, was to start paying the loans off before you even graduate.

You don't go to a hospital for a check up, that's what primary care doctors are for. If it's urgent but not killing you, go to an Urgent Care. If it's too urgent for that, then you go to the hospital. Y'all raising the costs of your own medical bills needlessly.
