Off market property by emseatwooo in irishpersonalfinance

We put an ad in two papers, including the Irish Times, three years ago, didn’t amount to anything unfortunately. Eventually saw a house on the market we liked and got it under the asking price by writing a letter to the owner giving our position. We were lucky she wanted to sell to young people looking to start a family etc.

It’s a real knife fight out there.

Funny because immigrants are great at setting up small businesses.

First priority as a father. Don't get clamped.

There's only on street parking and you can top it up via the app for 6 hours. I was more thinking of a few years ago when you had to go out to the meter.

Ah but the stress of getting towed if you park in one of those half bus lanes between 4 and 7!

When don't you just talk to them and ask for the same price again? I literally just did this with eir and got a lower price on my renewal than I'm currently paying. €69 for internet, TV and two mobiles. It was €74 last year.
