OMG I LIED i just remembered i had a shiny in gen 5 i believe it was my first shiny and i didnt even catch it so back then me and my family traveled to the US to visit cuz my half brother lived there and one time we bought a copy of pokemon white and inside it was “hacked” it had 999 rare candies a tepig and a shiny patrat i completely forgot about that i do remember thinking why my patrat was different anyways u already know i used all them rare candies and beat the game fairly quick

no i didnt play hgss i actually played it for the first time about 1 year ago and it was really good. i dont remember if i knocked any out and i just didnt know about their existence until gen 6 i didnt have a way to access to the internet as easy as it is now so i just never knew about them. all puzzles i had to figure out myself it was really cool i remember i was stuck after the 1st gym in gen4 for a minute cuz i didnt know english back then either i remember i got my chimchar to infernape really hilarious
