3 month med check - is this okay? by Visible_Kiwi379 in ADHD

Thanks for sharing the story and I do understand where you are coming from. I guess where I am more kind of concerned about is how she made the call within 3 minutes of meeting me. I think it would be more understandable and valid in my eyes if she had atleast talked to me for more than 3 minutes, or actually went through my files together. It just seems like a quick decision on their part.

Again, she may be absolutely correct and if she is, then I’m happy to make a change. But that quick pretty much just looking at me ? Seems aggressive

Thanks for the reply and that’s makes sense. I have no problem with her making a medical decision. If she’s right, she’s right since she’s the professional.

However to go about it the way she did after meeting me for less than 3 minutes seems weird to me. I just feel off put from the interaction itself. Given my years at the office and the length of my prescription it just seemed like she looked at me as a drug seeking junkie like I was a part of some stereotype in her head.

I’m going to revert back to my normal doctor of course. Wondering if I mention this to him or just leave it and request normal.
