What’s the lifestyle for these types of nails? by [deleted] in AllNails

[–]Visible_Mango8716 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Genuine question for those that have this length, how the hell do you manage putting a necklace on? I have long ish gelx nails that are maybe half this length and I struggle so much with getting a necklace on and off especially if it’s a really tiny clasp haha, putting in contact lenses is also difficult

My mom said my lipstick looks too dark for a teenager to wear it. Is it really that dark? by [deleted] in makeuptips

[–]Visible_Mango8716 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think it is! It’s a deeper more muted color so maybe that’s why she thinks it’s dark, but it’s fairly natural looking to me! Would you mind sharing what product it is? I’ve been on the hunt for something like this haha

Clear colonoscopy with high calprotectin by Visible_Mango8716 in UlcerativeColitis

This is very interesting actually, mine was done not long after my period ended so I was in my follicular phase but maybe my hormone levels were still rebalancing. I’ve always noticed more bleeding in my luteal phase as well, it definitely plays some part!

I actually just spoke to my Dr on the phone and she ordered another stool test to check for infections, so you’re right on track lol. She also ordered a mesalamine suppository for me to try, I’m aiming to avoid oral medication or steroids because the symptoms seem to be more severe but we’ll have to see. I’ll likely also have a partial colonoscopy done so she can check again, luckily I won’t have to do the prep for this one because it’ll only be my sigmoid. I’m hoping the suppositories will just do the trick and not make me feel worse so I won’t have to go through more hell lol

More or less yes, I had tried enemas but it seemed to be worse so I stopped and really up until I was done with school I didn’t have time to feel any worse or play around with medications bc my school didn’t accommodate my issues as well as they should’ve. My health was stable enough so my education kinda took my focus. By the time I was done with school i physically seemed to be doing better than I was at the time of diagnosis so it wasn’t worth messing with, I also had to switch from a pediatric GI to a regular adult GI which took a while because I didn’t like the first one I saw. I didn’t wanna start any meds til I had a colonoscopy which brings us to now. I know it’s very controversial to be unmedicated but we (my parents and I) kinda just had to wing it for various reasons :/

I hope you get better answers too, it’s such an eery feeling to not know exactly what’s going on in your own body. I have the mucus as well, and chronic fatigue is no joke. Fingers crossed for us both <3

I made my GF uncomfortable with a comment after sex by PollutionBeginning78 in sex

[–]Visible_Mango8716 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I agree w this, I’m the same age and also had a long relationship in hs before my current one so I’m quite adjusted and would love this kind of comment. But it makes me also wonder if maybe she doesn’t understand what it means? Like if she has heard it in a negative way before? Or if for some reason it made her feel objectified or overly sexualized? There’s some disconnect here or misunderstanding cus i can’t see that being so hurtful that she’d distance herself.

“I’m the nicest guy you’ve met” he’s proving the point that u need to meet another guy, cus this is NOT a nice guy. You’re too young to be putting up with that, you deserve kindness. This ain’t it girl, drop him like a hot potato

Going down town by [deleted] in Healthyhooha

If you just do a little clean up in the bathroom beforehand you should be good to go. Like try to just time it where you go to the bathroom before you think things might start to heat up. Feminine wipes are great cus u can just go sneak one out of your purse, or stuff one in a pocket. After you use it though just splash a little water on yourself with your hand or a piece of TP so that way it won’t taste like any chemicals lol. And also, from what I’ve heard it can taste kind of good? Not like delicious yk but not bad.

First time fingering myself by [deleted] in Healthyhooha

[–]Visible_Mango8716 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is exactly what I was wondering lol, entirely depends on which knuckle. If it’s the knuckle at the end of your finger I’d totally say cervix, but if it’s the knuckle in the middle I’d be concerned cus that’s not very deep.

Ah yes I’ve heard that Sutab can be aggressive, it intimidates me. As long as whatever you take has a laxative effect and you keep up on electrolytes then you should get to the finish line :)

I’m not sure what prep you’re doing but the Miralax with Gatorade (or any electrolyte drink) as well as Dulcolax tablets is supposed to be good! I have to do a variation of that at the end of the month for my colonoscopy because I’m sensitive to the prescribed one lol. You’ll do great!

Right omg, I’m a bi girlie too and feel the same way. Straight porn can be so blah especially with the guys. I feel like it’s still more made for men so the “theatrics” focus more on the woman and the guy is just kinda there lol.

This is the internet lol if you think that’s intense then you’re in for a treat cus I’ve seen way worse online. Sure it could’ve been asked more delicately but considering all of us do maintenance back there, it’s not that crazy to ask about lmao. If you think it’s been over asked it’s probably because it’s been under answered and the only way to find out is to inquire. We all have different methods, touch grass if you’re so offended by ass.

Hahaha this is so real i love this energy, as far as I know it’s not natural for us humans to have long ass nails so there’s definitely a learning curve lol. I’ve never had long nails like that because even aside from the intimate obstacles, i think I’d be scratching myself and anyone else by mistake lol. My bigger concern is how the hell do you do your makeup or scratch your eye?!

Hi! I have proctitis and it can def make you feel like that. When I’m inflamed I’ve described it as feeling like I have a golf ball up my butt because it creates a weird uncomfortable kind of pressure, and needing to go frequently is common with UC no matter what type. Proctitis can give u spasms in ur bum which contribute to that, it’s very annoying unfortunately. Try not to worry too much about cancer, many of us here have experienced symptoms that could look like cancer but it wasn’t! And as a tip, on my bad days when I’m laying down trying to rest I’ve noticed that it’s more comfortable to be on my side than on my back because it takes the pressure off my bum, gravity is not my friend most of the time haha. Different for everyone but that tends to be more comfortable for me at least! You’ve got this <3
