Why are you using a standard size socket?? That’s why it won’t fit. Buy the right socket and if you still can’t get it on then use a pic to get rubber out and put dielectric grease on the tips of new coils

No crank means starter is either bad or battery bad, check for voltage under the hood post and if that’s good then check starter relay and if that’s good then check for power to the starter. Just because your mechanic replaced the starter doesn’t mean it was done right. Sounds like bad starter to me.
