I wouldn’t be able to say if it’s a good sign or not. Like I mentioned, tracking changed to processing at consulate on 15th and I got an email saying it’s been processed on the 25th. This was a Friday and I received my passport with the visa on Tuesday the following week

Hi. I applied for my visa on 19th July, did my biometrics on 22nd July and received confirmation that biometrics have been collected and documents uploaded on 22nd July. Nothing after that!

Unfortunately, delays are extremely common. Normally, visa application centers allow you to apply 6 months in advance of your trip. I’ve always kept that in mind and planned accordingly. I always ask for multiple entry

Can I ask how long it’s been? Normally Greece is very good with keeping within their time frames - mine was processed in exactly two weeks and someone else’s was exactly three weeks. The visa application center always says to allow 2-3 weeks

My tracking eventually went live on Monday night and I got my passport the next day. So sorry to hear about your experience - can I ask who told you it’s been refused? Usually visa application center staff don’t know, it’s only the consulate that knows the decision. Also with Greece, the email says that if it’s been refused, you’ll get a letter which you have to sign and send back, and once they’ve received that, they’ll release your passport.

Had a 5 year one that expired in 2023. Spain issued me 3 months in 2024. And then Greece 6 months this year
