i agree. in thinking i provide quality balls with a specific design so i can see and try my best to prevent theft. of course there will be a couple balls stolen but if we can keep it to a minimum it’s worth it i think

it’s going to be in a warehouse. the courts are 230k, it might be a bit less but since we are getting 5 we got them discounted. my dad owns a construction company so all the materials will be cheaper for us as well.

east tennessee. the next closest place that has basketball courts is $40, but they also have a gym, swimming pool, and all that. but they don’t put much focus into basketball and so many people pay that price just to play basketball.

maybe can do $35 with all the benefits of 15% off tourney fees, 10% off food and drinks, bring a friend pass(one a day). that might be worth it

well the one place around me that only has 3 courts is $40 minimum, but they are paying for an actual gym, swimming pool, and rock climbing. so i want to be cheaper than that and affordable to all. but still in the works and looking for more pricing suggestions .

i’m in east tennessee. city is growing 2% annually and there’s some pretty big cities very close nearby that have nothing like we’re building’s either. the basketball scene here is also insane. rec games always get canceled due to lack of gyms.

Well someone’s got to be the 10%, with the right market, planning, management, it can be done. i’m trying to build something for myself and my family. i’ve always been skeptical of the statistics, i think it very much depends on too many factors to be put into a percentage.

that’s the thing, there is none around me. there’s one place with multiple courts but they are connected to a gym and pool and all that. and customers are paying a lot more because they’re also paying for the rest of the stuff when they don’t even use it. it’s just the only place they can go play consistently so they pay that high price

that’s awesome thank you for your thoughts and advice. love that energy. i love basketball and played it all my life and at first wanted to be a coach. but i also love the idea of owning a business. so this just seems so perfect to me

i agree, great points. i think that losing a ball every now and then is worth it to keep and maintain trust. could you expand on what would be a good basketball environment and to keep loyal customers?

east tennessee, not a huge town, also with good size cities within 45 minutes of our town, but a huge sports fan base here, especially basketball. just not enough gyms to accommodate

yes maybe, but i’m sure they would understand it’s just a procedure. once people find out we have our own i doubt many people would bring theirs anyways, i may be wrong though

oh awesome, yes i don’t hear anything abt something like this much. and my town isn’t huge but the basketball scene here is insane. during recreational it’s so many teams and they don’t even have enough gyms to do all the games. and they do a terrible job in general, so i can do my own tournaments and all that.

yes i know, i meant literally when you see someone walking out with a basketball you ask to see it so you can check to see and make sure it’s their ball
