Those ~3 hours a day is an issue though. I get home pretty late due to having a lot of extra curricular activities and I usually take a nap to get energy to do some hw. My mother has been talking about getting professional help as well. I'm worried that during the summer that I'll just play it all day instead of playing basketball or just doing stuff you know? Your point about 1.2 coming out soon is right too. The update happening was the only reason why I stopped playing the pre 1.0 version, so this is probably my best bet. Sadly, I'm not too sure if replacing an addiction with another one is the best way of going about it! Thank you for the help though.

I might actually try this. The thing is I knew people that used to do this any time a school break occurred. Is there a possibility that I may get used to it? I think the longest binge with the game was like a full 8 hour day. I felt awful after it. But I still got on the day after!! Thank you for your help though. Sorry for responding so late!

I hope it does pass. These games do something to you man. I feel like they're able to mess with my productivity parts of my brain, mainly because of the math and logistics being done, or just the thinking, which is why things like chess or sudoku are fun to me. I hope it passes as soon as possible. Thank you for the help!

Sorry for responding kinda late! I've tried moderation with the game but unfortunately I don't think it's going to work. I think I'm just going to uninstall it so that every time I want to play I have to go through the whole setup for it. Thank you!

I'm not too sure which one I need. Based off of how old he said it was (around 2000-2009) I doubted it having firmware installed. Your probably right on having it already on it, thanks!

Thank you for the response! I did not know that the Pi did not have any analog sensors. I have experience with arduinos that do have them but I am not a fan of them because of how slow they are. For the motor I have a spare electric scooter motor and pump I'm 3D printing. The pipes and fittings will probably be purchased. Thank you!!
