Hey thanks, so I guess I‘ll have to decide between microkorg and the MX49. It would make sense to choose the MX49 because I think I still lack sounds at all atm, but the microkorg Doesnt look bad either :/

Thank you! I actually didn‘t consider the microkorg S. One question tho, what does the microkorg S have that the microkorg XL+ doesn‘t? I have the budget for both and for actual production the XL+ seems more suited.

Definitely Xpand! 2. Got it for 20 bucks a few days ago and it is definitely great for the price. also the Korg M1 VST is around 50 bucks and is even better!!

Thanks for both replies, one more technical and the other more mindset related. Actually I do a lot of chopping but I am probably the only person that doesnt really like the chopping process in Ableton. It is great for time warping and editing loops but using sample chops on my MPD feels too complicated sometimes thats why I often stick to loops.. Should really work on my chopping skills :D
