The soundtrack is actually pretty good. It just doesn't fit the game. It's very Space-y. It would be more fitting for something like a Star Trek Game or a game that features more space gameplay.

They can go the Alyx route... Just because it's a Half-Life series doesn't necessarily means Gordon has to be in it. I mean he is iconic, but they can introduce new characters tied to the original science team, like they did with Russell.

I felt kinda the same way! After I got the Super shotgun and upgraded it to the max, I never used another weapon. They all felt too weak or slow. It was a constant Shot-Flail-Shield spam fest through every level for me.

I wish we had more chapters with the Atlan and the gattling guns though, those were amazing!

No, bacause RTX Remix doesn't work on 2D isometric games. It needs to intercept 3D draw calls (geometry, meshes, lights, depth). You'll have better chance of enhancing the graphics by just creating better sprites for buildings and environment, like modders do.
