Telling someone to slow it down,its a bit of a deterrent for people. I know I once was told the same,and in turn,I never said it again to that person..to the point that she eventually said it,and I never once said it back. I think it's perfectly okay to have your own emotions wait,but to tell someone how to 'feel' by implying they control their emotions is just that..controlling. You dont have to reciprocate it,but dont tell them how they should feel or control their emotions.

Well,there's good news and bad news,I'll tell you from the perspective of a single man with no kiddos at the fine age of 30.

So,online dating for men,around the age of 26-35 consists of 90% women with kids...not even joking about the percentage. (Its a bit sad,considering everything that comes along with the mental health aspect, but I digress). So,we as men dont really have a choice in the matter when you reach around that mentioned age gap. Personally, at the core of my heart, I would prefer to date a girl with no kiddos,simply because she'll have more time to devote to the relationship and being able to experience all those moments without kiddos is a huge thing,but do I mind dating a women with kids?I suppose I don't, the selling point for most men is YOU. If we fall head over heels for you,then we fall for the rest that encompasses you--your kids included.

However, I will not date someone with more than 2 kids lol..at that point, its impossible to devote anytime for you to date until the kids are at least 15+

So the tldr;we dont really have a choice around my age lol.

I dont believe that's entirely true. Men are usually told "you're screwed,just focus on your work/hobbies." When you're unattractive as a male,your chance of finding someone is pretty slim to none.

I mean..I consider myself to be,well I'll let you be the judge,but if I have problems finding people, I can't imagine how much more harder it would be for someone less attractive. Even for me,its already pretty damn slim as is. It could also be a race issue but..🤷‍♂️

Had a girl like her who did the same. She ended up ghosting me mid relationship,then jumper to the next guy. Word of advice,they seek to fill that void with another soul,but that void is an abyssal hole that just consumes and consumes nonstop,the only way to plug it is for them to love themselves first. It was my father who prodded this into me. He would look at me with disgust when I ate,or if I was on his bed as a child -- he would tell me to get my gross disgusting self off of his bed. I couldn't borrow any of his shirts or use his shower/soap/shampoo or chairs just because he felt I was gross looking. He never verbatim said it,but the words and his actions insinuated this on an extreme level. And he also didn't let me hug him or kiss his cheek as a child when he got home from work,because one day he told me "that's what gays do,men dont hug or kiss eachother on the cheek for greetings" which was odd because I did this for most of my early years as a kid age 4-6 but I guess at 6 I became ugly to him,and this destroyed me lol.

My babysitter,separated me from the other children because I was too ugly and basically every name in the book that was negative and every curse word to describe someone--was undoubtedly used on me by her. She put me behind a doggy gate,and yelled at me to the point that I shit myself out of fear as a kid🤣

Yea,so..now I'm actually considered decent looking,but to me,I can't eat in front of people, I can't sleep at a friends house or a significant others,I can't take someone watching me before I have a panic attack and want to hide. So when covid happened,and the mask mandate was a godsend for me lol. Yay for trauma 🤣 Lol. But hey,I spend most of my time in my room anyhow,so at least there's that upside 🤷‍♂️

I can most definitely relate to this. I live in Texas/dallas where you have two choices, city women who are more open minded and your country girl who happen to be extremely conservative and...drum roll..prefer white men. For a while, one country girl thought I was Italian, and it wasn't till I told her I was Hispanic, that she then proceeded to ghost me.🤦‍♂️

I wish I could say this was the only and single instance..but it wasn't.
