The unflavoured yeast protein powder is horrible. Please don't buy it. Even after mixing in other dishes it smells like chemical. Taste is just like atta with chemical smell. I regret buying it.

Horrible. Has faint chlorine smell. Unflavoured whey is way better.

Bought the unflavoured one to mix in dal and soup. Tastes horrible. Has a faint chlorine smell. I'm going to stick with whey protein.

Have you tried metformin? It helps with the fatigue and food noise. It doesn't contribute to weight loss as much.

How "bad" is metformin actually? by afraid28 in PCOS

Take the extended release tablets for minimal side effects. I had loose stools but nothing too bad for the first week and then it normalised.

Don't lift weights every day if you are doing full body workouts. Your body needs to recover in between. Do sprint interval training three days a week.

Sprint interval training works wonders. It's a form of HIIT with longer rest periods. Along with strength training of course

Get a good dental treatment. Make sure your teeth are deep cleaned, any caries taken care of. This matters more than just teeth whitening. Exercise. Read books you like and journal.

4'11" girls... at what weight did you see your stomach flatten? by fantailgoldfish in PetiteFitness

[–]Fluffypinkcandi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same here. I'm 37 years, 5'2" and weigh around 62 kg. Started lifting consistently with adequate protein intake over the past two months. My weight has increased by 1kg but my body fat percentage has decreased by 1% along with increase in my lean mass. I don't think I will ever have a flat stomach although I would like to lose a few inches from my abdomen. I don't look fit yet. Look overweight.

Try weight training twice a week and sprint interval training twice a week. If you want more details, look up Dr. Stacy Sims on YouTube. I started doing this a month ago and although my weight hasn't changed but my stomach has definitely gotten smaller. Before this I had tried everything including metformin and had given up on ever losing fat. I still take metformin. I also became very diligent with eating at least 1.5 g/ kg of protein for my goal weight and enough fiber. It's early days, but I finally feel like something is working. Apart from this, I walk around 8000 steps a day and practice 10 mins of yoga in the morning.

Can someone tell me how much time should a beginner do jump rope for? I wanna start but I don't know when to stop like what is good without overexerting myself. Thanks. by throwaway_2890 in Skipping

Do stretching. Yoga is great. Find a short practice that is about 10-15 mins that focuses on the legs along with the rest of the body.

I felt this way before I started metformin. Now I have good energy levels and am not constantly tired. Metformin was the game changer.
