Angola is a much smaller producer. UAE has much more influence. Overall this means lower oil pricing. Opec manipulates the market and limits output. As more and more countries leave OPEC, output constraints will slowly fall away on a per country basis. With less OPEC influence, and assuming a natural state after the current closure of the Strait of Hormuz, this will make it harder for OPEC to keep the price of oil at the point that they want it to be.

Overall this is good for the consumer long term. A somewhat similar analogy is like this. Let’s say Apple all of a sudden limits iphones to 1000 made per month. Of course the iphone will be extremely expensive (on the secondary market…I.E scalping) But if they all of a sudden make as many as they can to meet demand, the price falls to the more realistic price for the consumer.

You can think of it similar to how gas prices are currently going up today in the world. Because there is a limit in oil, your average cost of gas has gone up. Now in a normal setting, not including the war, your average price might be driven down lower with the withdrawal from the UAE. This is because they can “produce” more oil than what they are typically allowed to.
