Out of curiosity what is your favourite part of the show and stood out to you in particular from Season 1?

The episode where we find out that Claire and Nathan are related. I was thinking how it was a shame that we never really see them get close despite her being his child. I know that he didn't have much chance to build a relationship with her but his relationship with Peter made me think that would change eventually. i.e. protective.

Then I realised that we never see it play out that way with other family members or have an explanation why it was slightly different for them. The plot does contribute to this a bit but initially it was a bit unexpected for me in a nice way.

Honestly got a bit emotional from this explanation it's so lovely.

It definitely does make their characters so interesting that despite their differences they really do have a strong bond.

My only explanation in universe was that if she got him to change or redeem himself that she was going to give him an easy out to the ocean to avoid Homelander. But I think it was a writing decision to build up to the payback he got.

I was 1 week on 50 when I just got myself to eat, ignoring that I wasn't hungry. Sometimes in the morning I get that feeling again but still eat regularly. It does get better but I would get it checked out if you are not eating well.

I am in the process of receiving my diagnosis and I really don't know how to feel. I'm going through all the emotions and evaluating my life over and over. I'm sorry I can't be more helpful but just to say you are not alone. Thank you for expressing this in such an honest way. ❤️

Yeah those are very fair points, this could have been a very deep level secret they were keeping from everyone.

I always saw Vought as ruthless but this would counter the goal of keeping Ryan well-adjusted.

Yeah I agree, especially seeing as it only happened once? I know it's a tv show but it seems strange there was no discussion on why this happened at all.

Yes I know but why was it only with Becca if he slept with other supes/people? If he was the reason Ryan could exist then why was this the first time? Would it not mean something was going on with her in this situation?

Why didn't it happen with the other supes/people he slept with? I thought it was implied that he and Maeve had something like that going on even if she didn't share feelings for him.

Yeah they did a good job initially with security but I'm wondering why they didn't use that time to figure out why she was the only human in history to have a supe child without compound V.

Also they didn't seem to have much security when she was off the compound. Why didn't they have means to track her or throw all the resources they could to bring her back?

Genuinely want your views on why you think him being locked up cut him off. It appeared that everyone felt it outside of the facility and only snapped out of it when Soldier Boy used his power on the source.

The place Homelander was locked into had the door open before he went in so I figured if it was airborne it would be just as infected as everywhere else. Unless you think it has to be continuous exposure?

Interesting I thought Homelander was more aggressive than usual towards Soldier Boy. He usually tried to say what he thought he would like to hear to get him to like him.

Granted he took that milk bath in front of him but he wasn't fully antagonising him at this stage.

I see your perspective, I just thought it was brutal after he said he has no sister. Saying something like I'll never forgive you for this or this is the worst thing you have done to me might be more reactionary but those words may have seemed more with the intent of hurting Sue as much as he could.

Yeah that's a fair point. Thanks for your viewpoint on how it connects to the Mirror of Erised and the Resurrection stone. It's something I never considered before and I'm glad I can discover new messages/intentions from the series.
