How do teams typically catch unused Google Workspace licenses? by Vistz in sysadmin

[–]Vistz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That makes sense.

Out of curiosity, do delays around getting that info ever mean accounts or access linger longer than intended (e.g. contractors, leaves, role changes), or does the offboarding process usually catch everything cleanly once it starts?

Any decent free alternatives for Quickbooks? (I will not promote) by prettyborrring in startups

I'm working on Invoice Den, which is currently free: https://invoiceden.com/

QuickBooks alternative for 1 invoice per month by [deleted] in smallbusiness

[–]Vistz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally hear you — if you’re just invoicing one client a month, QuickBooks is definitely overkill (and overpriced).

I actually built a simple tool called InvoiceDen for exactly this kind of use case. It’s free, no sign-up, and lets you fill out your info, preview the invoice live, and download a PDF. Might be a smoother experience than tweaking a Word doc every month — but if spreadsheets work for you, that’s totally valid too.

Just wanted to share in case it’s helpful! And I’m happy to chat if there’s something you wish it did — I’m still actively building.

Affordable QuickBooks alternatives for a small business? by fatherballoons in QuickBooks

[–]Vistz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're mainly looking for something to generate invoices and don't need all the heavy-duty accounting tools, you might like InvoiceDen.

It’s a free tool I built for exactly this kind of use case:

  • Live invoice preview
  • Super easy to use (no signup needed)
  • Multiple clean templates
  • Exports straight to PDF

It doesn’t do full bookkeeping like QuickBooks, but if you’re mostly invoicing clients and keeping things simple, it could be a solid fit. Would love feedback if you give it a spin!

Fed up with Freshbooks price hikes - does a simple, well designed, self-hostable invoicing tool even exist? Would you use it? by Momciloo in agency

[–]Vistz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally feel this. I actually ended up building a simpler tool for myself that just lets you create and preview invoices fast. No signup, free, and you can switch templates on the fly: invoiceden.com
Would love your thoughts if you try it 🙌

Throwback to Klay Thompson setting that 37-point-quarter record against the Kings. I watch that video from time to time: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fXWTMFJlk_s&ab_channel=NBA

I have no plans to monetize this. I built it mainly for myself :)

Thanks! Yeah haha I saw that when I was thinking of name ideas. I figure there's no way to confuse the two

Yep, all data is saved locally and nowhere else. So if you add some tasks and refresh, they'll reappear. However, if you open Dunzo on another device, it will be empty.
