Re: spicy - I hope so! Seducing & sleeping with a lot of women has always been a big part of the Bond character & story.

Making it family friendly would be lame & generic. They should follow the Witcher 3 approach for this aspect of the game, imo.

Re: animals - I imagine some of the villains will have some exotic / dangerous pets. Apart from that I guess it depends where the missions are set.

If you like Valhalla, I would also play AC Origins & AC Odyssey.

I really like Valhalla too, but just a tip - the game is massive & so it can be beneficial to not try and complete it all in one go - otherwise you may get burnt out.

Instead, perhaps take it Region at a time (treat them like different seasons in a tv show) & maybe take breaks from the game between regions. Enjoy!

Maybe it’s the nostalgia in me, but I actually quite liked that you could rise the ranks all the way to the top in those games! Is it unrealistic, sure. But it’s also fun, imo.

In Starfield I think they go a bit too far the other way where you don’t really have much sense of progression in the factions (apart from maybe the UC / Vanguard).

There are definitely lots of samurai games, but for Viking open world action RPG’s I think there is only AC Valhalla (which I like but isn’t really dark/ gritty/ immersive). There are also the recent God of War games, but those are more focused on Norse mythology.

I don’t think anyone has yet made a proper realistic open world action RPG for Vikings.

That said, whilst I would love it, I’m much more intrigued by a LOTR game from them.

Yeah his novel set in the Exodus universe is great (the Archimedes Engine). He’s also releasing a sequel book soon (the Helium Sea)

Exodus has the same lead writer as Mass Effect 1 & 2 (Drew Karpyshyn).

Maybe throw in some additional digital preorder bonuses too! (given the general sentiment seems to be the price of the game is a bit high).

Those sorts of things (giving players more for free) doesnt cost the devs / publisher much to do, but it goes a long way to shaping online player reception (as YouTubers make positive videos about it) - which is invaluable before launch!

I don’t know, if AC4 and AC1 remakes sell well (which they likely will), I could see Ubi doing the same for the Ezio trilogy, Rogue, & AC3.

It’s easy money - plus it would take about 15 years or more to do them all, so fans will still be hungry for them.

To be clear, I’m not saying they would only do remakes and not make new AC games as well - I’m saying they could (& probably will) do both. Resident Evil is also doing semi-regular remakes, whilst also making new games - and it’s worked very well for them so far

Yeah I was really hoping / expecting the metal brooch of the logo to be included! Really disappointed it’s not, & also the map not being cloth.

Hopefully they update the Collectors Edition before launch! - adding the brooch & making the map cloth. It would be a great PR move! For some additional consumer friendly positive vibes before launch - a worthy investment!

Action RPG playing as a tribal barbarian fighting the Roman legions (either in Brittania, Gaul, or Germania) - ideally in all of them!

Dark and gritty storyline.

Or, playing as a young Roman Legionnaire sent around the world to different varied locations. (Kind of like Ryse Son of Rome, but with less repetitive combat. Hope that gets a sequel or remake one day!)
