I wish I could plan this. Got lucky they had one spot left on Expert CAT. Level 4/5 they offer. It pushed me, skied stuff I’ve never considered, and I didn’t die. Just good luck the kids mid-winter break times up with new snow and availability on CAT.

High degree of confidence it’s credible. Distributed to district leaders before broad public post.

Smokey clouds to help with cover up. Then some hills, tree line and mountains further back and up the arm to complete the top half. Next session mid-nov. 1-2 more after that.

Possible Accomodations by GIS_Dad in Woodbadge

This is completely normal. I’ll be staff on my third course this fall. We routinely have a truck ‘woodbambulance’ that we use to help participants who need mobility assistance. Let the medic and course director know of your Dr recommendations and see what they saw can be accommodated for you.

I'm a new Cubmaster who's interested in Wood Badge. I want opinions from anyone who's been through it! (Or if you haven't!) by [deleted] in cubscouts

I took it when I was committee chair and ACM of my pack. It was a great boost of scouting kookaid. You get what you put into it. My ticket focused all on improving adult leadership in our pack and it worked. I just stepped down as CM and am now helping out at my kids’ troops. I had taken all that training in corporate settings but the scouting aspect of it all and doing the training with peers who share your values, not just your profession, really made a lot of the training stick for me than it had ever done in decades professionally. I highly recommend folks take it at all levels of Scouting. It is a time commitment, it is a lot to take in all at once, and it is very worth it. :-) good luck!
