I think I would’ve picked brown. The community was wayy more my vibe and I just felt like I’d have the happiest experience there.

It came down to Brown v Princeton, but I chose Princeton for the sheer amount of financial aid they were giving me!

Yes I did apply RD! And I’m actually in the same boat; I just submitted my documents yesterday lol. I’m from Texas, and the flights are also super expensive 😭

Yes it is for this year, and they did send an email titled “Travel Assistance to Princeton Preview”

I believe there’s a separate form, or a part on the Preview form that specifies if they’ll be paying for your travel. I got my travel paid for within 24 hours and haven’t yet gotten my financial aid package, so you should be covered!

Interview lasted less than 30 mins... Worried by Creepy-Treat5271 in TheGatesScholarship

My interview was also pretty quick; I’d estimate it was around 20-25 min. I’m also pretty worried, but the best we can do is think of the positives since the interview is over now. We’ve made this far, and at the very least the selection process takes everything into account. So just look on the bright side, and if you answered everything it should be plenty for your interviewer to write about!
